THE EXPERIENCE

Day 1 : DEPARTURE LONDON HEATHROW / ARRIVAL DUBROVNIK

Today you will board for flight to Dubrovnik.

Your adventure begins in Dubrovnik, the ever-resplendent ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’, where you make your way to your boat. Enjoy a traditional Croatian welcome from the captain and crew before sitting down to dinner. Then make sure you get a good night’s sleep because seven days of sheer bliss await. Welcome Dinner on board

Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 2 : DUBROVNIK

After breakfast on board, meet with the tour representative for information and recommendations. Explore the historical city of Dubrovnik, which for centuries was the capital of the prosperous maritime Republic of Ragusa. Surrounded by ramparts and fortresses, the immaculately preserved Old Town is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces. Landmarks such as the Franciscan Monastery, which features one of the oldest continuously functioning pharmacies in Europe, and the Rector’s Palace, as well as many other sites, will make you feel you have travelled back through the ages. Contemplate the exterior of the 16th century Sponza Palace and St. Blaise’s Church, and admire local landmarks like the Orlando statue and Onuphrius’ Fountain. See the beautiful baroque Cathedral of the Assumption and the treasury as you immerse yourself in the history of this spellbinding mediaeval city. Enjoy lunch on board the ship before spending the rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 3 : DUBROVNIK – MLJET (80km – 6 hrs with stops)

After breakfast, sail out on a cruise from Dubrovnik to Pomena, a hidden port on the idyllic Mljet Island. Lunch is served on board. To many people Mljet is an island lost at sea that cannot be easily reached. Do not miss the opportunity to discover the breath-taking landscape that inhabits the stories of Odysseus, St Paul and Benedictines. Also, keep an eye out for the fun and playful Mediterranean monk seal. In the heart of the pine-clad island there is a national park, a magnificent natural landscape with two shimmering lakes in its centre. If you are feeling adventures, this is your chance to go on an optional trip to the park. (The entrance to National Park Mljet is not included)

Overnight in Pomena.

Day 4 : MLJET – HVAR (105km – 8 hrs with stops)

In the morning hours we set off to Hvar Island. This beautiful island lies between the islands of Brač and Korčula. Hvar’s location at the centre of the Adriatic sailing routes made this island an important base for trade throughout the wider Mediterranean in the ancient past. After lunch on board, step ashore and scout the fascinating city of Jelsa and the island of Hvar.
Overnight in Jelsa.

Day 5 : HVAR – BRAČ – SPLIT (85 Km – 6 hrs with the stops)

After breakfast, sail to a paradisiacal beach in which to enjoy a morning swim: Zlatni Rat, one of the most famous beaches in Croatia. This gorgeous natural formation shaped like a horn lies on the southern part of Brac Island, right below the highest peak of all the Adriatic islands, Vidova Gora, a summit 780 metres high. Cruise towards the exciting strait of Splitska vrata – the ‘Split Gates’. After lunch on board, continue to Split and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring this fascinating city at your own rhythm.

Overnight in Split.

Day 6 : SPLIT – KORCULA (120km – 9 hrs with stops)

In the morning, head to Korcula, the city located on the island bearing the same name, best known as the birth place of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Within the imposing fortifications and defensive walls, the town’s quaint red roofs may extensively remind you of the city of Dubrovnik. Meet the centuries-old works of stonemasons whose architectural wonders created a very orderly urban plan. After lunch on board, spend the afternoon as you please, be it resting on the boat, or wandering around this lovely island.

Overnight in Korcula.

Day 7 : KORČULA – SLANO (65 Km – 5 hrs with stops)

Today we’ll sail by the biggest peninsula in Dalmatia: the Peljesac Peninsula. Known for its winding slopes, this area gives name to some of the region’s best red wines, known as ‘plavac mali’, including Postup and Dingac. Along the way, make a stop at Trstenik. Further down the Mljet Strait, you’ll eventually come to the Elaphiti Archipelago, a highly photogenic group of 14 islands and islets all huddled together upon the waves. This day wouldn’t be complete without lunch aboard the ship and a delightful swimming break. The late afternoon will see you arrive at Slano.

Overnight in Slano.

Day 8 : SLANO – DEPARTURE DUBROVNIK (25 km – 2 hrs)

After breakfast, all travellers with morning flights will depart from Slano to the airport. The ship then sets sail from Slano back to the iconic Dubrovnik and the Port of Gruz, from where individual departures will make their way on to their next destination. Have a pleasant journey!
