Explore Enchanting Everest, whether you call it EEE or E3 or triple E is a relatively easy trek compared to some other treks in Nepal, takes you up high along trails to Tengboche Monastery (3850m). This is a short but very scenic trek which offers magnificent view of the world’s highest mountains, including Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Thamserku, Mount Ama Dablam and many other immaculate white peaks.
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu 1345 meters - Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport; you will be greeted by our CEO and escorted to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu – Lukla 2804 meters – Phakding 2610 meters - An early morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Tribhuwan international Airport for departure to Lukla. It is a Himalayan mountain flight that takes around 35 minutes from Kathmandu to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla at 2804 meters. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be introduced with porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding at 2610 meters. We begin with exploring the village whilst our Sherpa crew manage our trekking equipment. Thereafter, we proceed our trek towards the Dudh Kosi River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2713 meters). After having a soft and easy walking we pass through the small village of Ghat (2550m) we reach to Phakding. Overnight at the Guesthouse.
Day 03: Namche Bazaar 3441 meters - We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering Sagamartha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breath-taking mountain views. Known as the gateway to the Mount Everest, Namche Bazaar habitats many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange and internet. It is also known as one of the biggest villages along the whole Everest trail. Overnight at the Guesthouse.
Day 04: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization - We will spend entire day here in order to acclimatize and adjust ourselves. We will take a short trek to the museum celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. Today we hike up the Syangboche Airport, around Everest View Hotel. From this point, we see magnificent views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise or sunset over the panorama of the Khumbu peaks. Overnight at the guesthouse.
Day 05: Tengboche Monastery 3860 meters - We trek to an altitude of 3860 meters today. On reaching Tengboche, your guide will explain you about the history of local monastery. The group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning depending on how the days trekking went. Overnight at the guesthouse.
Day 06: Namche Bazar - We will start trekking back to Namche Bazar following down same trail, leaving the mountains behind. Overnight at the guesthouse.
Day 07: Lukla - Finally we return to Lukla where the trek started, which seems a lifetime ago. Enjoying time to memorize the trekking experience and great memories during the trek. Overnight at the guesthouse.
Day 08: Lukla – Kathmandu - We memorize upon the mountains that have recently visited for the last time before boarding 35 minute Scenic flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu we are met and transferred back to our starting hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Kathmandu - Today is yours leisurely day for you to relax and rest. You may choose to explore Kathmandu city with optional full day sightseeing or scenic Mountain flight to Mount Everest at extra cost (please ask at the time of booking).
Day 10: Final departure - The trip ends, our representative will drop you to the Tribhuwan International Airport for your onward journey.
The accommodation in cities such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and Bandipur in this itinerary includes in good 3 star category hotels. The accommodation in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Bandipur includes bed & breakfast whereas in Chitwan includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, jungle activities and other cultural programmes.
The accommodation during trekking in this itinerary includes in tea houses/lodges. The accommodation in tea houses/lodges in the trekking region is very basic and it is not possible to book an accommodation in advance. Although, in some tea houses/lodges you will be able to have your own room, in many others you will be sharing a dormitory with other fellow trekkers. All amenities such as bathrooms, corridors but not limited are shared. The hot water and hot showers may be available but subject to extra charges so you will have to borne costs for these services. Your guide will arrange a place for your stay when you arrive in each place. Please note that, there may be no or very little choice as it all depends on what times of the year you are trekking, how full the lodges are and how late in the day you arrive at that destination. Normally, during peak season such as September, October, November, Feb, March and April lodges operate in extremely full occupancy.
