Day 01 : Departure London Heathrow and Arrive Madrid – Oviedo
Join the group at the meeting point, in the underground parking of the Plaza de Oriente, at 8:30 in the morning. Then drive towards Oviedo. Set on a series of hills at the foot of the Naranco, it stands out for the beauty of its streets, many of which are pedestrian, almost guaranteeing a peaceful time. Its monuments were listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, and amongst them is the Cathedral, one of the most important works of Asturian Gothic.

Day 02 : Oviedo - Lugo - La Coruña
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a drive to the Galician region. Once you arrive in Lugo, enjoy some free time contemplating this city’s Roman remains at your leisure. These reminders of a bygone age include the city walls, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Continue then to La Coruña, where you’ll go on a panoramic drive through the main avenues of this fabulous town. See the Marine Avenue and admire the elegance of this city, which boasts fine examples of typical Galician architecture. Make a brief stop at one of the wonders of the world: the oldest working lighthouse on Earth, known as the Tower of Hercules. This amazing construction dates back to the Roman period. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore this wonderful city at your own pace.
Overnight in La Coruña
Day 03 : La Coruña - Santiago De Compostela
After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Santiago de Compostela, a city declared a World Heritage Site and one of the most important centers of Christian Pilgrimages in Spain, as it constitutes the ending point of the famed Camino de Santiago, a long walking route built when Spain was still a part of the Roman Empire. Enjoy a city tour that will acquaint you with the city’s main square, called Obradoiro, and the magnificent Cathedral (entrance included) dedicated to the Apostle Santiago. The rest of the day is for you to spend at leisure wandering through the narrow cobblestoned streets and appreciating the city’s young lively atmosphere.

Day 04 : Santiago De Compostela - Rias Bajas - La Toja - Vigo
Have breakfast at the hotel and depart towards one of the most marvellous parts of Galicia: the Rias Baixas (Galician for the ‘Lower Rias’). Drive through this breath-taking natural landscape until you make it to La Toja Island, universally known for its delightful spa. Spend some free time here and then continue to the Ria de Arosa, passing through Pontevedra before arriving in Vigo, a city located right in the heart of the Rias Baixas.

Day 05 : Vigo - Viana Do Castelo - Braga
Charge your batteries with breakfast at the hotel and then head out to cross the Portuguese border. After arriving in Viana do Castelo, a city located between the mouth of the river Miño and the city of Porto, you’ll have some free time to explore this first location in Portugal. Afterward, hop back onto the coach and continue your drive to Braga, a historical and highly cultural city also known as the ‘City of Archbishops’, where you’ll check in to your hotel and spend the night.

Day 06 : Braga -Salamanca - Madrid
Enjoy one last breakfast at the hotel before crossing the Spanish border and arriving in Salamanca. Make a short stop and spend some free time in this university city (also declared a World Heritage by UNESCO), which counts with a great many architectural and cultural sites for you to explore. Continue then to Madrid, where the tour reaches its conclusion.
