 Day 01 : Departure London Heathrow
Today you board your outbound flight to Auckland.
 Day 02 : Arrival in Auckland
On arrival in Auckland make your way to the Super Shuttle collection point, just outside the main exit door and to the right. Your Super Shuttle and driver will be waiting for you at the shuttle rank and will transfer you to your accommodation. The remainder of today is at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 03 : Auckland
Today you have the free day at leisure to rest and relax after a long flight or explore the city on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 04 : Auckland Sightseeing
Your tour begins to travel through the city center, past iconic Karangahape Road, and the stylish suburb of Ponsonby, and over the Auckland Harbour Bridge, enjoying views of the Hauraki Gulf and city skyline. Visit the Viaduct Harbour, home to America's Cup racing for many years, and the central city's main road Queen Street. before continuing to the Auckland Domain. Developed around an extinct volcano, the Domain features 75 hectares of open spaces, tropical gardens, duck ponds, and public art, and is home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Take a short morning tea break (own expense) in Parnell Village, where historic buildings have been transformed into trendy boutiques and specialty shops. Next, travel the waterfront route of Tamaki Drive to Michael Savage Memorial Park above Mission Bay (a memorial to the first Labour Prime Minister of New Zealand) which provides superb views of the stunning Hauraki Gulf and Auckland City. Your tour will commence after a drive back along the waterfront. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 05 : Bay of Islands
Today your tour takes you across the Auckland Harbour Bridge, north via the Hibiscus Coast to the beautiful Bay of Islands - a haven for people who enjoy sea activities and the beauty of uncrowded sandy beaches and native forests. Arrive in Paihia and visit the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds, In conclusion, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 06 : Bay of Island Cruise
Experience a uniquely relaxing three hours of island views and stunning blue waters! Depart from the hotel and head all the way out to the historic lighthouse at Cape Brett. The catamaran will take you on a memorable voyage, gliding out to the famous Hole in the Rock at Motukōkako. This landmark is a stunning sight, and in good conditions, you'll pass right through! Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 07 : Auckland
Your local driver guide will point out scenic highlights as you travel through farmland and past native forests. At the end of your journey, enjoy the spectacular views from the Auckland Harbour Bridge as you arrive in Auckland's central city by night. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 08 : Rotorua
Experience the natural wonders and cultural highlights of Waitomo Caves and Rotorua with an action-packed full-day sightseeing tour. Travel north into the King Country region, home of the world-famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Travel through these underground limestone caverns on a 45-minute guided tour and hear how the amazing stalactites, stalagmites, and other weird and wonderful rock formations were formed over 30 million years. The magical Glowworm Grotto is a highlight – travel by boat along an underground stream, while above you thousands of tiny glowworms illuminate the cavern. Continue onto Rotorua, on arrival watch a farm show including a dog trial at Agrodome Farm, and enjoy a guided tour of Te Puia, view mighty geysers and boiling mud pools, and a Maori cultural performance. This evening, you will visit the local Maori village and engage in ceremonial rituals, learn about the culture, and enjoy cultural performances. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 09 : Napier
Departing from Rotorua your journey to Napier takes approximately 4 hours with multiple stops en route. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 10 : Wellington
Departing from Napier your journey to Wellington takes approximately 5.5 hours with multiple stops en route. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 11 : Wellington
See Wellington through the eyes of a local on this tour. Experience the best attractions and must-see landmarks of this vibrant city and get off the tourist trail. Gain a 360-degree view of the city from Mount Victoria, experience the rugged south coast seas, and explore interesting quaint villages throughout the city. Take a ride on the famous Cable Car (this is optional and at your own cost) but most of all sit back and enjoy Wellington at it's finest. This afternoon enjoys an overview of Te Papa's highlights, Maori taonga (treasures), and New Zealand history on a 60 minute guided tour of the museum. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 12 : Nelson
Today, we sail across the Crook Strait via the Interislander ferry and travel to Nelson. En-route, we move through the Marlborough Sounds, Queen Charlotte Sound, and Picton. From Picton, we will be transferred to Nelson where you will stay for the night. Your journey today will take you across the Cook Strait on the Interislander from Wellington to Picton. The 92 km voyage takes approximately 3 hours and has been described as "one of the most beautiful ferry rides in the world". Departing from Picton your journey to Nelson takes approximately 2.15 hours with multiple stops en route. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 13 : Abel Tasman Cruise
Your coach travels from Nelson to Kaiteriteri and returns to Nelson is included. The Full Scenic Cruise - Sit back and relax as we depart from picturesque Kaiteriteri Beach on a scenic cruise into the majestic Abel Tasman National Park as far north as Totaranui. View world-famous Split Apple Rock, fur seals, golden sands, and the crystal-clear waters of Anchorage and Medlands Bay beaches before you return to Kaiteriteri.
 Day 14 : Christchurch
On our journey to Christchurch, we travel through the Golden Downs Forest, cross the Lewis Pass and stop at Hanmer village for your self-paid lunch. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 15 : Tranzalpine Train – Greymouth
The TranzAlpine is one of the world's great scenic train trips from one coast to another through the dramatic contrast of dry beech forests and tussock land on one side of the Alps and lush green landscapes on the other. From Christchurch, cross the patchwork farmland of the Canterbury plains, follow the Waimakariri River, climbing into alpine scenery on a series of spectacular viaducts. Then, after stopping at Arthur's Pass, emerge from the long Otira Tunnel and descend through sub-tropical rain forest past beautiful Lake Brunner and on to Greymouth On arrival, you are transferred on a coach from Greymouth to Franz Josef. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 16 : Queenstown
Today we travel to Queenstown. En-route, you can see the deserted beaches and beautiful flora and also pass through the Haast Pass and Lake Wanaka. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 17 : Queenstown
Today you have the entire day to explore the city of Queenstown on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 18 : Milford Sound Cruise
Today you will board the luxury glass-roofed coach in Queenstown and enjoy a relaxing trip along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and through the rolling countryside to Te Anau. Have a short break in Te Anau and then follow the spectacular Milford Road. On reaching Milford Sound board a luxury vessel for a cruise the full-length of Milford Sound. The vessel provides excellent viewing opportunities and plenty of time is available to enjoy waterfalls, rainforest, mountains, and wildlife. Return to Milford Wharf and reboard your coach for the return journey to Queenstown by road. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 19 : Tekapo
Today you will leave Queenstown and travel through the rugged and beautiful landscape of Otago. Cross the Lindis Pass into the Mackenzie Country to visit Mount Cook Village at the base of New Zealand's highest mountain Aoraki / Mount Cook. There is a lunch break (own cost) at Mount Cook village. Following your stop in Mount Cook continue your journey on to Tekapo. On arrival, you have the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 20 : Christchurch
Today we travel from Tekapo to Christchurch. We continue inland across the Canterbury Plains, stopping for afternoon tea en route, before arriving in Christchurch this evening.
 Day 21 : Final Departure
Today, you will be transferred by a super shuttle to the airport for your onward flight.
