Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu 

Our airport executives will meet and greet you at the airport upon your arrival. Our team will assist you with luggage transfer and let you have sometime to enjoy the surrounding around airport and settle you down. Afterwards, you will be escorted to the hotel in the Kathmandu city. Upon your arrival at the hotel, smart, professional and hospitable front desk team will provide you arrival drinks; that will give you a bit of glimpse of what a true Nepalese hospitality is like. Remainder of the time is yours for rest before you join for briefing at 1900h followed by buffet style dinner. During briefing, we will provide you with complimentary duffel bags, hats etc. You will also have opportunity to get introduced with the team members with whom you will be for next 10 days and ask questions that you may have.

Day 02: Kathmandu temples visit 

After early breakfast, we will take you around to visit top temples of Kathmandu to begin with world’s famous temple Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Budhanilkantha and Swyambhunath. Afterwards, we will back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, remainder of time is yours which you may choose to stay in the hotel and enjoy the garden or walk around the city.Dinner at 8 in hotel. We apply and collect china visa this day. Overnight at hotel. Meal plan (B/L/D).

Day 03: Kathmandu - Lhasa (by flight)

After early breakfast, you will be dropped to the airport for flight to Lhasa. Your driver and guide will be there to meet and greet you at Lhasa airport upon your arrival. Afterwards, we will drive to the down-town ancient Lhasa city. Upon arrival at the hotel check in. Remainder of the time is for rest and acclimatisation. The great tips to adapt with high altitude is to take things easy, drink more water and walk light than usual. Overnight at hotel. Meal plan (B)

Day 04: Lhasa sightseeing

After breakfast we will proceed for Lhasa sightseeing visiting: Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Sera Monastery.

At the outset, we visit Jokhang Monastery. We  then continue our journey with walk on the Barkhor street surrounding Jokhang. It is a big free market with its prolific stalls for selling local specialities. Afternoon, we will visit Sera Monastery. Jokhang Monastery. These are observed as the centre of the Tibetan Buddhism and the sacred land of Buddhist followers where thousands of pilgrims come from various part of the world to worship every day. The temple is built in 647 symbolizes the earliest wood-and-masonry structure from primitive era yet in recent days. Sera Monastery was built in 1419 that has always been an important Buddhist monuments in Tibet. It is called as court of wild rose as roses are planted everywhere within the monastery. The monastery is the habitat for 200 monks. Overnight at hotel. Meal plan (B)

Day 05: Lhasa sightseeing

Lhasa Sightseeing continues by visiting: Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery.

After breakfast, we visit Potala Palace. The palace was built in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of the united Tibet. Later palace expanded and served as the winter residence of the Dalai Lamas as well as the religious-political nexus of traditional Tibet. Needless to say, the environment surrounding palace impresses thousand of visitors.Drepung Monastery known as the sacred land of Gelug Sect, was built in 1416. The second, third and fourth Dalai Lama once resided in Drepung monastery. Overnight at hotel. Meal plan (B)

Day 06: Lhasa Lake Yamdrok-Gyantse-Shigatse (350km, 3900 m)

After breakfast, we will make our journey to the historic town of Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake. As per local mythology, Yamdrok Lake is the transformation of a goddess. On the Gangbala Pass, you will have a clear picture of this Tibetan holy lake in turquoise, in distance you can also see the snowcapped Summit of Ninjingkangsang. The largest stupa Kumpa is located in Gyantse. Ten-thousand stupa, the 8-storey Stupa is 42m high and 62m in diameters contains a total of 76 chapels with wonderful murals revered by art scholars around the world.), just next to the Stupa is the Pelchor Monastery, This typical Tibetan Buddhist monastery is the only one large building complex in Tibet that old monastery and Stupa are completely preserved and characterized as a monument. It is recorded 14,000 kilograms of copper was used to make the 8-meter-high sitting statue of Sakyamuni Buddha housed in the grand hall of the temple. Another important site on the way to Gyantse is the Karola Glacier, if weather permitting, we have opportunity to take high quality photos of the glaciers. It must be exiting! After our sightseeing in Gyantse, we will take about 2 hours slow and safe drive to Shigatse city which is the second largest city of Tibet. Overnight at hotel. Meal plan (B)

Day 07: Shigatse - Lhatse (by drive)

After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Lhatse. Enroute we will visit Sakya Monastery. In the morning, we will also visit Tashilhunpo Monastery. We will have some time until we continue our journey to Lhatse. Overnight at hotel. Meal plan (B)

Day 08: Lhatse - Saga (250 km) [4600m]

After breakfast, we will drive to Saga where we meet our Nepali Sherpa staff who accompany guest throughout Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. From now onward, your journey will be in full board with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and dinner is served at the guest-house, packed lunch is served in route. Overnight at hotel. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 09: Saga - Manasarover (4558m) 506 km

After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Mansarovar. We will start our Mansarovar parikrama from Horchu Pass. Depending on the weather, we will plan to take bah and perform pooja in sacred lake Mansarovar. Overnight at guest-house. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 10: Mansarovar - Darchen (14975 ft) 40km

After breakfast, we will continue our Mansarovar parikrama and reach Darchen. Rest of the time is left for your leisure. You may choose to walk around Darchen and enjoy handicraft shopping. Overnight at guest-house. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 11: Darpoche - Selung Gompa or Chuku Gompa/5000m

After breakfast, we will trek to Darpoche. Today is the day for excursion of Shaptarishi cave & 13 Chorten. Overnight at guest house or tent. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 12: Selung Gompa or Chuku Gompa - Nandi inner Kora-Dira Puk Monastery

After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Selung Gompa and Nandi parikrama. Overnight at guesthouse. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 13: Dirapuk – Zuthulpuk, 18km, 6-7 hrs, 550 m ascent, 600m descent

After breakfast, we will continue our parikrama to Zuthulpuk. Overnight in guesthouse. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 14: End of Kailash Parikrama and drive to Manasarovar

After breakfast, we will continue our parikrama until we reach parikrama ending point where jeep/buss will be waiting for us. We board onto the bus and continue our return journey to Mansarovar. Overnight in guesthouse. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 15: Manasarovar – Saga

After breakfast, we will continue our return journey to Saga. Overnight at Saga hotel. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 16: Saga - Nyalam

After breakfast, we will drive to Nyalam. Overnight at guesthouse. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 17: Nyalam - Border - Kathmandu by road – 5 hours

After breakfast, we will drive to border. After clearing the boarder formalities, we cross border and have our lunch at Miteri restaurant in Nepal side. After lunch, we will drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu; check into the hotel. After some rest before we join farewell dinner and refresh our Kailash memories. Meal plan (B/L/D)

Day 18: Final departure or extension trips

After breakfast, you will again have sometime to recall your wonderful Kailash memories before make your way to the airport for journey back home or continue with extension trip to Muktinath or Manakamana. Meal plan (B)
