Mount Kailash (22,028 ft, 6,714 m), the famed holy peak, is situated to the north of the Himalayan barrier in Western Tibet. This legendary snow-shrouded rock dome is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Bonpos (Pre-Buddhists) and draws pilgrims from India, Nepal, Mongolia, Tibet, Japan, China, Southeast Asia and other parts of the world. At the slopes of Kailas, a stream is said to pour into Manasarovar and from this lake, flow four of Asia’s great rivers ­ the Indus, the Brahmaputra, the Karnali and the Sutlej. The large number of Kailash pilgrims visit this Asia’s sacred site by various means of route. Mount Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter is amongst one of them.

Day 04: Simikot– Hilsa – Taklakote (3900m) (Simikot – Hilsa by helicopter than to Taklakote by road drive)

Day 05: Taklakote - Mansarovar (4560 m) / 1 hour (by road drive)

Day 06: Mansarovar – Darchen – Tarboche - Dirapuk (4860 m) (by road drive until Tarboche than by walk parikrama starts)

Day 07: Dirapuk - Zuthulphuk (4760 m) 22 kilometers / 9- 10 hours (by walk)

Day 08: Zuthulphuk – Darchen – Mansarovar Parikrama – Taklakote (until Darchen by walk; parikrama ends and by road drive)

Day 09: Hilsa - Simmikot – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu (Until Hilsa by road drive than by helicopter to Simikot and by flight onward journey)

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Today is an exciting day as you land in the Himalayan Kingdom to initiate your Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter. Our airport executives will meet and greet you upon arrival the Kathmandu airport. You will be assisted with luggage and you will have sometime to board our coach/car than you will be escorted to the hotel. An arrival drinks will be provided upon your arrival at the hotel which gives you a glimpse of the beginning of Nepalese hospitality in Nepal hotels. After check, you will have leisure time to rest your own. In the evening at 1900h; briefing will take place followed by evening meal in banquets style in charming banqueting suit of restaurant. 

Day 02: Kathmandu – Nepalgunj (by flight)

After early breakfast, you will have dasrhan of Pashupatinath darshan. After Pashupatinath dasrhan back to the hotel. After lunch you will be start your journey to domestic airport for flight to Nepalgunj. The journey to Nepalgung will take around an hour. You will be transferred to the hotel from airport.

Day 03: Nepalgunj – Simikot (2870 m) (by flight)

After early breakfast, we will take a flight to Simikot by fixed wing plane. The journey to Simikot takes around an hour. We will take night halt at Simikot for acclimatization.

Day 04: Simikot– Hilsa – Taklakote (3900m) (by helicopter)

After early breakfast, we will make our way to Hilsa by helicopter. The helicopter rides to Hilsa takes around 22 minutes. Once we arrive at Hilsa, we will trek 15 minutes to cross border. Now your helicopter journey ends here and reaminder of entire Mount Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter will continue with overland drive (may be by jeep or deluxe coach depending on the size of the group). After crossing the border, we will continue our journey by overland drive to Taklakote. Upon arrival at Taklakote; check into the guest-house. Remainder of the time at Taklakote is for acclimatization.

Day 05: Taklakote - Mansarovar (4560 m) / 1 hour drive

After early morning breakfast, we will continue our journey to to Mansarovar . Once we reach Mansarovar, we pick an appropriate place for Mansarovar bath and pooja (weather permitting) 

Day 06: Mansarovar – Darchen – Tarboche & Trek to Dirapuk (4860 m)

Early morning, we will take bath at Mansarovar Lake; pooja if we hadn’t taken any a day before. Afterwards, breakfast served. Than after, we continue our driving journey to Tarboche. We visit Yamadwar and our Kailash parikrama starts here.  We reach Diraphuk after trekking/walking around 12 kilometres. 

Day 07: Diraphuk – Zuthulphuk (4760 m) 22 km / 9- 10 hours

After early breakfast, we continue our Kailash parikrama to Zuthulphuk. Today is the day, mostly talked by every Kailash pilgrims. it is also considered as most toughest day of parikrama as it takes you to the highest altitude to Dolma La Pass 18,600 ft. Once we reach at the top of Dolma La Pass; we will make our decending journey (may choose to visit Gauri Kunda) until we reach to Zuthulphuk.

Day 08: Zuthulphuk – Darchen – Mansarovar – Taklakote

After early breakfast, we will continue our Kailash parikrama with 8 kilometres walk towards the parikrama ending point where our jeep will be waiting for us. We board jeep and make return journey following the same route. We take lunch at Mansarovar; thereafter continue our journey to Taklakote.

Day 09: Hilsa - Simikot – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu

After early breakfast, we drive to Hilsa where we board helicopter to continue our journey to Simikot than to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu.

Day 10: Final departure

After breakfast, you will have sometime to recall wonderful memories of Mount Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter just before heading towards airport for final journey back home.
