TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
Kremlin: It’s home to an ancient ensemble of architecture comprising of temples and cathedrals, palaces, and picturesque squares. The territory of the Moscow Kremlin is a town inside a city, growing and developing through centuries, it carefully preserves the memorable objects of traditional Russian architecture of XIV—XX centuries. Since 1991, the Kremlin has been the residence of Russia’s president.
Moscow metro: is rightfully considered to be a unique system of urban infrastructure being the most beautiful, the deepest, and the largest of all the similar existent networks of transportation.
VDNH park: This is a large exposition complex including more than 500 permanent structures. 49 of them are recognized as objects of cultural heritage. The park opening was one of the major cultural events of pre-war Soviet history. It displayed the highest achievements in agriculture, industry, and culture of the earlier Soviet. This place was aimed to represent the lifestyles and culture of Soviet Republics – local traditions, sources of pride, and inputs into the overall prosperity of the country.
Space Museum: a special place with no equivalents in the world. The museum tour is based on the history of Russian astronautics: the historical launch of the Artificial Earth Satellite, the first manned space flight, the first spacewalk, etc. Multiple artifacts such as space gear, space food, private possessions, toolkits, and domestic items will tell you about the working and living environment of astronauts.
State Hermitage Museum: Russia’s most famous palace and museum, it is located within a complex of several buildings along the riverbanks right in the city center. The general exhibition contains millions of artworks: paintings, sculptures, archaeological pieces, numismatics objects, and other artifacts.
