During the day, enjoy a cruise on Lake Kawaguchi and take part in a Hoto noodle-making experience, followed by an included lunch. Continue to Oshino Hakkai, known for its traditional setting and clear spring-fed ponds, before visiting Arakurayama Sengen Shrine.

Travel from Tokyo to Kyoto by bullet train, taking your luggage with you as you journey across Japan by rail. An indicative journey shown in the itinerary is approximately 12:00pm from Tokyo, arriving in Kyoto at around 2:15pm; final train details will be provided with your travel arrangements.

Depending on the service used, you can travel by JR with no change, or by a combination of JR and Metro involving one change. On arrival in Osaka, make your own way to your hotel.

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to a Jade Factory, where you can learn about the importance and cultural significance of jade in China.

Continue to the magnificent Great Wall at Juyongguan, one of China’s most celebrated historic landmarks. Construction of fortifications in this area dates back centuries, and today you will have the opportunity to explore this remarkable section of the Great Wall and take in its impressive surroundings.
