 Day 02 : ARRIVAL – SIEM REAP

Upon arrival, warmly welcome at Siem Reap International airport, our local guide will welcome you at the airport then transferred direct to hotel for check in.

The remaining time is free for you to rest & relax at the hotel. You may wish to explore the city, you can choose to visit Pub Street which is well-known for its quality yet economical food & beverage outlets.

 Day 03 : SIEM REAP SIGHTSEEING [B]

Breakfast at hotel, you’ll be at leisure a bit and then:

Angkor Sightseeing

08h00: Our shuttle bus with tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to South Gate of Angkor Thom.

Walk through the South Gate of Angkor Thom via the Naga Bridge, taking some photos.

Walk from South Gate of Angkor Thom to Bayon temple via the big trees, play with monkeys (be careful with your things as monkey might try to take it away from you).

Visit to Bayon Temple and walk to Baphuon, Elephant Terrance, Leper King Terrace and the Royal Enclosure.

Lunch break (at your own cost)

13h00: You’ll be driven to Angkor Wat Temple area (Visit to Angkor Wat Temple until sunset).

17h30: Our shuttle bus with guide will bring you back to hotel for the night Overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Important notes:

+ The upper level of the Bayon temple is closed for renovations. The land parts remain open as usual. Visitors will still be able to visit the Bayon temple on the lower level as well as all other Angkor temples as per schedule.

The mighty Tonle Sap Lake (Half Day – Group tour)

This morning, we visit a Floating Village. Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Here we will see plenty of examples of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap. Transfer back to your hotel.

 Day 05 : SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH BY TOURIST COACH [B]

Breakfast at the hotel. You will be transferred to Siem Reap bus station (no guide) to board an air-conditioned tourist coach  for departure to Phnom Penh, which will take approximately 7-8 hours depending on traffic conditions. Buses leave in the morning and arrive Phnom Penh late afternoon. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh bus station you will be met by our local guide and transfer you to the hotel for check in.

You may upgrade to a 1-hour domestic flight.

The rest of the time, you’ll be free on your own to explore some highlights in Phnom Penh such as the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles and National Museum.

Be picked up from your centrally-located hotel in Phnom Penh and be whisked away in a tuk-tuk to explore the city's best street food and local restaurants on an unforgettable culinary experience. Travel back in time at your first stop with a Cambodian noodle dish that dates back to the 13th century, served up by third generation local cooks in front of their house. Continue on to a ma and pa shop to sample 2 of the most quintessential Cambodian street foods. Moving across the city, swing by for a snack and cold beer at small restaurant run by a young local couple who have conquered the local food scene through the power of social media. Head to the famous Russian Market Area, for a guided walk followed by the most delicious, smoky, sticky, sweet pork ribs in the capital. The owner even sets up a 'chef's table' for you, so you can watch all the action up close. Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Then continue your visit to National Museum.

Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum or S21, was the former Tuol Svay Prey High School. The Khmer Rouge set up a prison at this site in May 1976, to detain individual accused of opposing the Pol Pot regime, and was Angkor’s premier security institution, the Killing Field of Choeung Ek, and Wat Phnom temples.

Then you will be transferred to Phnom Penh bus station (no guide) to board air conditioned tourist coach for departure to Ho Chi Minh City which will take approximately 6-7 hours depending on the traffic. Buses leave in the morning and arrives Ho Chi Minh City late afternoon. Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City bus station you will be met by our guide and driver to transfer you to the hotel for check in.

The bustling Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping areas and sidewalk cafes. (If time permits) we stroll around the down town to explore the different local ways of life.

 Day 08 : HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA SIGHTSEEING [B/L]

Breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be heading out of town to join the group tour, we travel by roads to the Mekong Delta. This plain region boasts the largest rice bowl of Vietnam. On arrival in My Tho, we board a boat navigating around the intricate small canals, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up and catch a view dotted by many islands. The exciting river trip will pass by the lush green vegetation towards the famous Unicorn Island where we have a chance to stroll around an orchard, taste many seasonal fruits, and see farmers at work. The extra enjoyment is lunch at one of the famous local eating spots.

 Day 09 : HO CHI MINH CITY – FREE [B]

 Day 10 : HO CHI MINH CITY – HANOI BY DOMESTIC FLIGHT [B]

After having breakfast, you’ll be at leisure till the time of a transfer (no guide) to the airport for a departure flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noibai Airport, you’ll be met by our local guide & transferred to your hotel in Hanoi for a Check-in.

The rest of time, you’ll be free on your own.

 Day 11 : HANOI – HA LONG – CRUISE [B/L/D]

After having breakfast at hotel, you will be at leisure till the time to be picked up at hotel by our air-conditioned tourist shuttle bus for Halong Bay.

11:30 - 12:15 : Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port.

12:30 - 13:00 : Embark on Victory. Check-in, enjoy welcome drinks and cruise briefing.

13:00 - 14:30 : Enjoy lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, admire the fascinating formations on the way.

15:30 - 16:30 : Explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.

17:00 - 17:30 : Return to boat – Swim or relax on sundeck.

18:00 : Anchor for overnight in Cong Do area.

06:30 : Enjoy sunrise on the Bay. Morning Tai Chi session on sundeck.

08:00 - 08:30 : Transfer to bamboo sampan boat to visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village. Rowers are local people wearing traditional costume.

09:00 - 09:30 : Check out of cabins. Start cruising towards the port.

09:30 - 10:30 : International buffet brunch served in restaurant.

10:30 - 11:00 : Disembark. 

12h00: Take our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi

16h30: Arrival back at your hotel. At leisure in the rest of the day.

 Day 13 : HANOI – BANGKOK [B]

After breakfast at the hotel, bid farewell to this worldful Cambodia and Vietnam holiday and continue to enjoy further a week in Thailand. Transfer to the airport for flight to Bangkok.

After landing at Bangkok International Airport, a tour representative will meet and greet you before guiding you to the transfer to your hotel. Then spend the rest of this first day at leisure, becoming acquainted with the vibrant city of Bangkok. Perhaps you could indulge yourself with a traditional Thai Massage, surprise your taste buds with the local flavours and cap off the day by enjoying the sunset from any of the stylish rooftop bars which have blossomed in the city’s skyscrapers in recent years… the options are limitless.

 Day 14 : HALF- DAY ROYAL GRAND PALACE AND TEMPLE TOUR [B]

After breakfast, prepare to spend half a day exploring three of the most important Buddhist temples in Bangkok. Begin at Wat Traimit, also known as the temple of the Golden Buddha, which houses a 3-metre-tall statue made from solid gold and that weighs 5.5 tonnes. Then pass through Chinatown on your way to Wat Pho, the temple of the Reclining Buddha and home to the Chedis of the Kings. This 46-metre-long and 15-metre-high Buddha is the largest in Bangkok, and it illustrates the passing of the Buddha into nirvana. The Grand Palace, former residence of the Kings of Bangkok, is one of the most beautiful examples of an ancient Siamese court. Here you will see a variety of palaces used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. To round off the tour, call in at a local lapidary factory and showroom where you will be able to get locally made jewelry, handicrafts and silk at competitive prices.

Note: The Grand Palace is closed during special royal ceremonies and during visiting heads of state.

 Day 15 : RAILWAY MARKET AND DAMNERN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET [B]

Depart from Bangkok and head to Maeklong Railway Market, also known as Talad Rom Hoop. Upon arrival, the guide will introduce you to the history of this area. See the action in several minutes before the train passing through the market. The process happens so quick it will amaze you for the unique moment. Then go to the world-famous floating market of “Damnoen Saduak”, there are countless floating markets throughout the country, the colourfully clad merchants at these lively markets paddle along congested canals in sturdy canoes laden with fresh fruits and vegetables to sell to shoppers on the banks. This is an exciting and fun way to see the local like and to go bargain hunting. Transfer back to Bangkok. Breakfast included.

 Day 16 : BANGKOK – KRABI (30km – 30min / 80min flight / 15km – 30min) [B]

Wake up to breakfast at the hotel before enjoying some free time for you to spend at leisure before the unescorted transfer to Bangkok Airport, where you’ll catch your flight to Krabi. Upon landing at Krabi Airport, head to the Arrivals hall where you will find a driver holding a sign with your name on it. You will then be transferred to your hotel, where you can settle in before spending the rest of this first day at your leisure.

Indulge in a tasty breakfast before a full day to discover Krabi on your own pace. Alternatively, you can choose to go on the following Optional Tour (not included):

Half-Day Krabi 4 Islands by Speed Boat – English (Available Daily): Shared activity. Start at 08:00 to 01:00 pm. Pick-up from your hotel’s lobby. Transfers: included. Meals: not included. Description: Take advantage of this half-day excursion and explore the 4 islands of Krabi: Phra Nang cave, Tup Island, Chicken Island and Poda Island. What do I need to bring?

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Thailand. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Shoes should be removed before entering a temple or private house. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
