Day 3 : Amman – Jerash - Ajloun – Amman

Jerash
After breakfast, depart for a visit to Jerash or Gerasa, one of the most beautiful preserved Roman
cities in the Near East.
Your local French-speaking guide will reveal the history of this thousand-year-old site, then one of the ten great Roman cities that make up the confederation of the Decapolis.
Ajloun
Your route will continue to Ajlun, between beautiful natural landscapes and olive trees. You will visit the restored castle of Qala'at ar-Rabad located on a hill, from where the view of Tiberias and Judea is fantastic. Ajlun Castle protected trade routes linking Jordan and Syria. It became an important link in the chain of defense against the Crusaders who, for decades, tried in vain to seize the castle and the nearby village.

Day 4 : Amman - Madaba - Mount Nebo – Kerak - Petra

Madaba
After breakfast at the hotel, you will discover the city known for its incredible Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. It also has the distinction of housing no less than 14 churches, in a country where Islam is the dominant religion. You visit St George's Greek Orthodox Church, where the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land made in the 6th century, is paved on the ground.
Mont Nebo
You continue with the ascent of Mount Nebo, which rises to an altitude of 817 metres. According to
the writings of the Old Testament, it was here that Moses and his people discovered the Promised
Land. Mount Nebo is also supposed to house the tomb of Moses, so it has become a universal
pilgrimage site from the beginning of the Christian era and the most revered sacred site in the country.
Kerak
Departure to Karak where you visit the imposing medieval fortress.
Still surrounded by the fortifications of the old city, Karak rises 900 meters above sea level. A splendid panorama opens up to you! More imposing than beautiful, Karak nevertheless remains an impressive testimony to the military and architectural genius of the Crusaders. In the evening head to the Dana Nature Reserve.

Day 5 : Petra Visit

A full days dedicated to the "Rose City" to explore this fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will start the first day with a guided tour, with a French-speaking guide. You can then stroll freely through the ancient city. And the second day free visit without a guide.
Located south of Amman, Petra is a legacy of the Nabataeans, a working Arab nation that settled in
the southern tip of Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Renowned for its refined culture, majestic
troglodyte architecture and ingenious irrigation system, this lost city enchants visitors from all over the world.
On the programme of your visit: the Siq, the Khazneh, the Deir, the Amphitheatre, the Tomb of the
Obelisks, the Monastery.

Day 6 : Petra - Wadi Rum

Wadi Rum
After breakfast, head to Wadi Rum, this multi-colored desert, the largest and most majestic of the
Jordanian deserts.
You will dive into this breathtaking, timeless place left almost untouched by men, through a 4x4
excursion for 2 hours with a typical picnic (OPTIONNEL). Then you will discover the desert in
complete freedom. A full day to enjoy this beautiful desert. Located halfway between Petra and the
Red Sea, Wadi Rum is a unique desert in the world. Made famous through the exploits and stories of Agent Lawrence of Arabia in the early 20th century, it brings together breathtaking natural scenery.
You crisscross the wild desert trails in the company of the Bedouins still living in the heart of the Wadi and a little camel ride during is possible, admire the sublime towers of will and the rocky cliffs in red colors, orange where are engraved with mysterious petroglyphs ... Take advantage of this day to live a moment of sharing with the semi-nomadic population before spending an unusual night at the gates of the desert.

Day 7 : Wadi Rum - Aqaba (The Red Sea)

After breakfast, transfer to Aqaba, on the Red Sea for afree temps to enjoy the relaxation in the city: small cafes, restaurants with terraces and arbors where you can taste fresh fish at reasonable prices, nice market and smiling Jordanians. You can then enjoy the sun and a swim in the middle of a myriad of colorful fish. A glass bottom boat ride with a great picnic (optional)
The bustling city of Aqaba (and Jordan's largest city) is nestled between the Red Sea and the mountains.
Immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of Jordan's only coastal city that lends itself perfectly to water sports and the art of lazing by the sea. The Red Sea offers a rich seabed that lends itself perfectly to scuba diving. For lovers of gliding, windsurfing is a good way to discover the coast from another angle.

Day 8 : Aqaba – Dead Sea – Bethany - Amman

After Breakfast en route to Amman taking the road of Wadi Araba for about 4 to 5 hours, a beautiful road with panoramic views where you will have the chance to take very beautiful photos as souvenirs for this unforgettable stay. Then you reach the lowest point, the Dead Sea about 400 meters below sea level. It is proven that the climate and the elements (sun, water, mud and air) offer a unique combination, capable of relieving dermatological problems (psoriasis, atonic dermatitis, vitiligo...), respiratory and circulatory problems, hypertension... You will enjoy the strange but delicious experience of "floating" on the surface of these waters, which is 9 times saltier than seawater!

Proceed to the Baptism Site “BETHANY, AL MAGHTAS” is of immense religious significance to the
majority of denominations of Christian faith, who have accepted this site as the location where Jesus of Nazareth was baptised by John the Baptist. This reference encouraged generations of monks, hermits, pilgrims and priests to reside in and visit the site, and to leave behind testimonies of their devotion and religious activities, dating to between the 4th and the 15th century CE. At present, the site has regained a popular status as pilgrimage destination for Christians, who continue to engage in baptism rituals on site.
