En route, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of Emperor Akbar. Constructed in the 16th century, this remarkably preserved city showcases a collection of palaces, audience halls, courtyards and religious structures built from distinctive red sandstone. Although occupied for only a relatively short period, Fatehpur Sikri remains one of the finest surviving examples of Mughal architecture in India.

Following your visit, continue to Ranthambore, a region best known for Ranthambore National Park. Once the hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, the park is now one of India's most recognised wildlife reserves and is home to a variety of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, deer, crocodiles and numerous bird species.
