 Day 1 : DEPARTURE LONDON HEATHROW
Today you will board the flight to Kuching. Overnight is in the plane.
 Day 2 : ARRIVAL TRANSFER KUCHING AIRPORT TO HOTEL (D)
Arrival transfer from Kuching Airport to hotel, free at leisure, dinner at the hotel and overnight in Kuching.
 Day 3 : KUCHING CITY TOUR + RIVER CRUISE (B, L, D)
Pick up from hotel for lunch. Followed by Kuching City Tour, evening sunset cruise at Sarawak River. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Kuching.
 Day 4 : DAY TRIP BAKO NATIONAL PARK (B, L, D)
Pick from hotel and proceed to Bako National Park (packed lunch included). Return to Kuching, dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Kuching.
 Day 5 : SEMENGGOH WILDLIFE + SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE (B, L, D)
Pick up from hotel and visit Semenggoh Wildlife. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to visit Sarawak Cultural Village after lunch. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Kuching.
 Day 6 : KUCHING TO LEMANAK RIVER (B, L, D)
Departing from your hotel to the Lemanak River takes about 4 hours, passing padi fields, pepper plantations, farms, roadside kampungs and tropical jungles. Stop at the small town of Serian and later for lunch at Lachau. At the jetty, board a native boat for the upriver journey to Longhouse. On arrival, settle in at the Longhouse while your guide prepares dinner. After a simple dinner, join the rest of the longhouse folks and enjoy an evening of music and dance with rounds of tuak, their home-made rice wine. Stay overnight at the River Lodge. There are only basic facilities with no hot water for showers at the longhouse. Remarks: Should you want to bring gifts for the people at the longhouse are highly appreciated.
 Day 7 : LEMANAK RIVER TO KUCHING (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the Guesthouse. Take part in a blowpipe and cockfight demonstration before proceeding for a nature walk to visit native farms and an Iban burial ground, an animal trap, edible and medicinal plants. Depart for Kuching via the same route. Lunch is served en route. Drop off at your city hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Kuching.
 Day 8 : DEPARTURE TRANSFER FROM HOTEL TO KUCHING AIRPORT, FLY TO SANDAKAN ARRIVAL TRANSFER FROM SANDAKAN AIRPORT TO SEPILOK (B, D)
Breakfast at hotel and check-out. Pick up from hotel and depart from hotel to Kuching Airport and board flight to Sandakan. Arrival transfer from Sandakan Airport to Sepilok. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Sepilok.
 Day 9 : OVERLAND SEPILOK TO SUKAU, BOAT TRANSFER TO LODGE (B, L, D)
Morning visit Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, Lunch at local restaurant. Proceed to jetty and board boat to Kinabatangan River. Tea and evening river cruise to search for wildlife. Dinner at the lodge. Overnight at Borneo Nature Lodge.
 Day 10 : KINABATANGAN RIVER CRUISE (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the lodge. Kelenanap Ox-Bow Lake and river cruise. Lunch & dinner at the lodge. Evening/night river cruise. Overnight at Borneo Nature Lodge.
 Day 11 : DEPARTURE TRANSFER FROM LODGE TO SANDAKAN AIRPORT, FLY TO KOTA KINABALU, ARRIVAL TRANSFER FROM KOTA KINABALU AIRPORT TO GAYA ISLAND (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the lodge. Depart back to Sandakan. Lunch at a local restaurant. Sandakan City Tour. Drop off at Sandakan Airport. Arrival transfer from Kota Kinabalu Airport to Jesselton Jetty. Board boat to Gaya Island and dinner at the resort. Overnight in Gaya Island
 Day 12-14 : FREE AT LEISURE IN GAYA ISLAND (B, L, D)
Breakfast, lunch, dinner at the hotel. Free at leisure, and overnight in Gaya Island.
 Day 15 : Check-out at 11:00 hrs. Board boat from Gaya Island to Jesselton Jetty. Departure transfer from jetty to Kota Kinabalu Airport.

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable and warm clothing is the most suitable for travelling. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Shoes should be removed before entering a temple or private house. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
