Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be welcomed by a Lumle representative and transferred to your hotel. Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to the opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Nearby is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire. In the next few days, you will explore and experience some of the best that Bangkok and its proximity have to offer.

Today after breakfast, you will proceed to Ayutthaya, the city known as the ancient capital. Ayutthaya is a city in Thailand, about 80 kilometers north of Bangkok. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Siam, and a prosperous international trading port, from 1350 until razed by the Burmese in 1767. The ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya Historical Park, an archaeological site that contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries, and statues. The park is on an island between 3 rivers. Upon arrival, enjoy a full day exploring the ancient city of Ayutthaya with its picturesque ruins, statues, and temples. Afterward, you will return to your hotel. Remaining time at your leisure.

After breakfast, you will proceed for a half-day sightseeing in Bangkok city. You will visit some of the amazing sights such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Evening at your leisure.

After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for a flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you will be met and greeted by the Lumle’s representative and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is kept desire for you to rest, relax, and settle into your hotel. Chiang Mai is a city in mountainous northern Thailand. Founded in 1296, it was the capital of the independent Lanna Kingdom until 1558. Its Old City area still retains vestiges of walls and moats from its history as a cultural and religious center. It’s also home to hundreds of elaborate Buddhist temples, including 14th-century Wat Phra Singh and 15th-century Wat Chedi Luang, adorned with carved serpents.

Today, after breakfast you will proceed for the sightseeing of Chiang Mai including the Hilltop Temple of Doi Suthep. Afterwards, return to your hotel. The evening is kept leisurely for you to rest and relax.

Today after breakfast you will proceed to visit the nearby Kanta Elephant Sanctuary. Kanta Elephant Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project located approximately 45km from the city of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. Founded in Mar 2015.

Lumle has specifically included this project in this tour for its great care and consideration for the elephants' welfare. You will enjoy your day being spent with the elephants, feeding and bathing, and will get the chance to take part in such. Afterward, return to the hotel.
