Your Malaysia & Borneo – Travelling Solo
This option is designed for customers travelling individually, but the tour itself is not exclusively for solo travellers. You will have your own private room while travelling as part of a regular Lumle small group of 1–20 passengers. Your group may therefore include couples, friends, family members and other individual travellers.
This option is offered on selected guaranteed departure dates. Once your booking is confirmed, Lumle will not cancel your holiday simply because a minimum number of participants has not been reached. As with all holidays, operation remains subject to our Booking Terms & Conditions and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Bako National Park Adventure – Wildlife, Rainforests & Coastal Landscapes
Suggested optional excursion for Day 8
Journey to Bako National Park for an opportunity to experience Borneo’s rainforest, mangroves and coastal landscapes. Travel by road and boat before exploring selected walking trails with opportunities to observe the park’s distinctive flora and wildlife, which may include proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, silvered leaf monkeys, bearded pigs and a variety of birdlife. Wildlife is encountered in its natural environment and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Walk through tropical forest and discover the diverse vegetation and landscapes of the national park before enjoying an included lunch and returning to your accommodation.

Santubong Wildlife Cruise – Sunset Mangrove Experience
Suggested optional excursion for Day 9
Explore the waterways and mangrove environment around Santubong on an evening wildlife cruise. As you travel through the river and estuary, there may be opportunities to observe local wildlife including Irrawaddy dolphins, proboscis monkeys, kingfishers, monitor lizards and crocodiles, depending on conditions and the natural movement of wildlife.
As daylight fades, continue through the mangroves with the possibility of seeing fireflies where conditions are suitable. All wildlife encounters occur in natural environments and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Travel by boat towards the Satang Islands for a day surrounded by Borneo’s coastal scenery. Subject to sea and weather conditions, enjoy time on or around the islands and the opportunity to experience the area’s marine environment.
Where conditions permit, there may be an opportunity to snorkel and observe coral and marine life. Marine-life sightings, water clarity and snorkelling conditions vary according to weather, tides and natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
