Your journey begins today as you depart from NEW YORK on your international flight to Mumbai, India’s vibrant coastal metropolis and the gateway to your adventure.

Welcome to Mumbai, India’s vibrant coastal metropolis, where rich heritage blends with the energy of modern city life. Upon arrival at Mumbai International Airport, complete the immigration and baggage formalities before meeting our local representative in the arrivals area.
You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at leisure, giving you time to relax and settle in after your international journey.

After breakfast, travel by boat across Mumbai Harbour to Elephanta Island to visit the UNESCO-listed Elephanta Caves. Explore this remarkable collection of rock-cut cave temples, renowned for their impressive sculptures and carvings associated with Hindu mythology and particularly Lord Shiva.
During your guided visit, discover the historic cave complex and learn about its religious and cultural significance, including the celebrated Sadashiva sculpture. Please note that reaching and exploring the caves involves steps and uneven surfaces, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
After the visit, return by boat to Mumbai. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you time to relax at the hotel or explore independently at your own pace.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Central India. Upon arrival, continue by road to Pench National Park, travelling through the landscapes of central India towards this renowned wildlife region.
On arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy some time to settle into your surroundings. Later, enjoy a guided nature walk around the lodge area, offering an introduction to the local landscape, flora and wildlife of the region.
Pench National Park is characterised by deciduous forests, open grasslands and riverine habitats that support a rich variety of wildlife. The reserve is home to species including tigers, leopards, sloth bears, gaur, sambar deer and numerous species of birds. Wildlife sightings are entirely natural and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Pench is home to an impressive variety of wildlife, including Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, gaur, sambar deer, chital and numerous species of birds. Your guide will help you observe the surrounding habitat and look for signs of wildlife along the way. As with all wildlife experiences, sightings are entirely natural and cannot be guaranteed.
After your morning safari, return to the lodge for breakfast and time to relax. Enjoy lunch at the lodge before setting out again later in the day for your afternoon Jeep safari, offering another opportunity to experience the landscapes and wildlife of Pench National Park.

After the safari, return to the lodge for breakfast before continuing by road to Kanha National Park, one of India’s renowned wildlife reserves. Travel through the landscapes of Central India towards Kanha, known for its forests, grasslands and rich variety of wildlife.
On arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, giving you time to relax and settle into your surroundings ahead of your wildlife experiences in Kanha.

After breakfast, leave Bandhavgarh National Park and continue by road to Khajuraho, travelling through the rural landscapes of Central India. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy lunch at the hotel.
Later, set out on a guided visit to the UNESCO-listed Khajuraho Group of Monuments, celebrated for their remarkable temple architecture and intricately carved sandstone sculptures. Built during the Chandela dynasty, these historic temples are among India’s most important architectural and artistic treasures.
Explore the impressive Western Group of Temples, where your guide will introduce you to the history, architecture and cultural significance of the complex. Admire the elaborate carvings and soaring temple structures that have made Khajuraho renowned around the world.
The temples visited and the order of sightseeing may vary according to opening arrangements, local conditions and time available. After your visit, return to the hotel.

After breakfast, explore the historic town of Orchha, beautifully situated beside the Betwa River and renowned for its impressive palaces, temples and cenotaphs. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour introducing you to the rich heritage and architecture of this former Bundela capital.
Visit some of Orchha’s notable historic sites, including the magnificent Jahangir Mahal, the Raj Mahal and the distinctive Chaturbhuj Temple. You will also have an opportunity to experience the atmosphere of this fascinating riverside town. The exact order of sightseeing may vary according to local conditions and opening arrangements.
After the sightseeing, enjoy some free time for lunch at your own expense before transferring to Jhansi Railway Station.
Board the Gatimaan Express from Jhansi to Delhi, currently scheduled to depart at approximately 15:05 and arrive at approximately 19:30, travelling in AC Chair Car.

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
