At Lumle, our key priority remains the safety of all our guests at every stage of their holiday experience with us.
We have a duty of care to ensure that every trip is conducted without risk to anyone concerned and to advise you accordingly, and in good time, if circumstances affect that.
With this in mind, please be aware that the UK Government has issued the following guidance for visitors to Nepal: -
Recent monsoon rains have caused widespread flooding, leading to the displacement of people, injuries and deaths; road and airport closures are also affecting local transport links; you should plan travel in advance and contact your tour operator, the tourist police or the local authorities for further advice.
Our forthcoming Nepal trip itinerary includes the destinations below
• Chitwan National Park is affected by the flood but our Hotel partners remain confident that normal business will be resumed within the next 2 weeks as long as the weather does not get worse.
On this basis, your trip will go ahead as planned but we will, of course, advise you of any updates or potential changes as they happen.
Should you have any queries or concerns on any aspect of your trip please do not hesitate to get in touch.
