When To Go in Myanmar

Myanmar is recommended to visit during the dry season. Thus, the best times to visit are between November and May.  March to May can be extremely hot in some regions, around 40°C. There are certain regions in Myanmar that can be extremely wet during the summer season. However, due to the size of the country, it is possible to avoid these regions and still enjoy your holiday. The hills area can be cold in the winter season whereas the plains of Bagan and Mandalay are extremely hot during summer. In this section, you will learn when to go to Myanmar.
