The Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN SANTIAGO

Arrive in Santiago, Chile’s vibrant capital city, where you’ll be welcomed by a local representative and transferred to your hotel in the city centre. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may choose to explore the lively neighbourhoods of Lastarria or Bellavista, or simply relax after your international journey.

Day 2: SANTIAGO CITY TOUR & FLIGHT TO ATACAMA

After breakfast, embark on a guided city tour of Santiago. Highlights include the grand Plaza de Armas, the historic La Moneda Palace, and sweeping city views from Cerro San Cristóbal. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Calama. Upon arrival, continue by road to San Pedro de Atacama, your base for desert exploration.

Day 3: MOON VALLEY & DEATH VALLEY

Today, explore the iconic Moon Valley (Valle de la Luna) and Death Valley (Valle de la Muerte), both known for their otherworldly rock formations and dramatic desert vistas. Walk across salt-covered terrain and climb dunes for panoramic views of the Andes at sunset — a truly unforgettable experience.

Day 4: SALAR DE ATACAMA & TOCONAO

Visit the vast Salar de Atacama, Chile’s largest salt flat, home to three species of flamingos. Continue to the charming oasis village of Toconao, known for its white volcanic stone architecture. Learn about traditional Atacameño culture and enjoy scenic views of the Licancabur Volcano.

Day 5: EL TATIO GEYSERS & MACHUCA

Day 6: ATACAMA AT LEISURE OR OPTIONAL STARGAZING TOUR

Spend the day at leisure. You may wish to visit the Atacama Desert Meteorite Museum, explore local art galleries, or simply relax in the town’s laid-back cafés. In the evening, join an optional stargazing excursion (at extra cost), as the Atacama offers some of the clearest skies on Earth.

Day 7: RETURN TO SANTIAGO

After breakfast, transfer back to Calama Airport and fly to Santiago. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy your final evening in Chile. This is a great time to shop for last-minute souvenirs or dine in one of the city’s top restaurants.

Day 8: DEPARTURE FROM CHILE

Transfer to Santiago Airport for your onward flight. Your return journey will be rescheduled accordingly, and our team will assist you with the new arrangements.
