Day 2 : ARRIVE IN LIMA: COASTAL CHARM & OPTIONAL MAGIC WATER CIRCUIT EXPERIENCE

Touch down in the lively capital of Lima, a city where colonial grandeur and coastal beauty meet vibrant Latin spirit. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted by a local representative and transferred to your hotel in the modern district of Miraflores, known for its ocean views, boutique cafés, and cosmopolitan flair.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure to rest and recover from your international flight. You may wish to take a gentle walk along the clifftop promenade overlooking the Pacific Ocean or enjoy your first taste of Peru’s world-renowned cuisine at a nearby restaurant.

Lima, often referred to as the City of Kings, offers a fascinating introduction to the country’s rich cultural tapestry — a blend of Incan roots, Spanish colonial heritage, and contemporary creativity.

Optional evening experience: If you're feeling energised and eager to begin your Peruvian adventure, consider adding the spectacular Magic Water Circuit with Dinner Show to your evening. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco, the historic capital of the ancient Inca Empire. As you ascend from the coastal plains to the breathtaking highlands of the Andes, prepare to enter a world steeped in mythology, heritage, and mountain majesty.

Upon arrival in Cusco, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to the enchanting Sacred Valley — a fertile stretch of land nestled between forested mountains and winding rivers. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, continue by bus to the Machu Picchu Citadel, perched more than 2,000 metres above sea level amidst mist-covered peaks. After breakfast, transfer to the Cusco bus station to begin your overland journey to Puno, gateway to the legendary Lake Titicaca. This scenic route through the South Valley of Cusco offers a rich blend of natural beauty, cultural history, and breathtaking mountain landscapes.

Your first stop is Andahuaylillas, home to a stunning 17th-century church often dubbed the “Sistine Chapel of the Andes,” renowned for its elaborate murals, gilded altars, and angelic artwork. Continue to the archaeological site of Raqchi, where the towering remains of the Temple of Wiracocha — one of the most significant Inca deities — offer insight into ancient Andean religious architecture.
