Day 1 : FLIGHT FROM NEW YORK TO BUENOS AIRES — GATEWAY TO YOUR SOUTH AMERICAN EPIC

Your adventure begins with an overnight flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina’s mesmerising capital. Nicknamed the “Paris of South America,” the city fuses European elegance with Latin American flair: cobblestone lanes, grand boulevards, Belle Époque façades and the pulse of tango. Whether you’re here for culture, cuisine or the city’s creative spirit, the journey sets a dazzling tone from night one.

On arrival, time at leisure to find your rhythm: stroll the historic streets of San Telmo, wander the colour-washed alleys of La Boca, and admire the refined architecture of Recoleta. Sip Malbec in stylish cafés, linger over asado, and lose yourself in a passionate tango show—a vivid prelude to the contrasts ahead: cosmopolitan Argentina, wild Patagonia, the icy grandeur of Antarctica, and the extraordinary wildlife of the Southern Ocean.

Important Travel & Health Advisory

This itinerary involves travel in remote regions, use of various modes of transport, walking on uneven surfaces, and exposure to variable climates. Travellers should be in good physical condition to fully enjoy the experience. If you have reduced mobility, use a wheelchair, or have specific accessibility needs, it is essential to contact Lumle Holidays before booking at sales@lumle.com so we can confirm whether your requirements can be accommodated. Please note that once booked, if the tour is deemed unsuitable due to mobility or health restrictions, standard cancellation terms and conditions will apply.

Medical Fitness to Travel: Travellers with pre-existing health conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure, or pregnancy, must seek advice from their GP or healthcare provider before confirming their booking. Participation in this tour is at your own risk. Lumle Holidays does not accept liability for complications arising from medical conditions that were present before or arise during the tour.

Travel Insurance: All travellers are required to carry comprehensive medical and travel insurance for the full duration of their stay. Valid proof of insurance must be presented to the local authorities upon arrival if requested. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure the policy includes emergency repatriation, hospitalisation, and cover for all activities listed in the itinerary.

Internet & Connectivity: Wi-Fi is generally unavailable onboard vehicles during road transfers. While long journeys will include planned comfort breaks, we recommend purchasing an e-SIM or local SIM card at the airport to stay connected throughout your journey. While on the road, it is highly unlikely that the vehicle will be equipped with bathroom facilities, though rest stops will be made for long trips.

FCDO Advice: For British nationals, we strongly recommend reviewing the latest travel advice from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office at www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with the entry requirements and travel regulations of Argentina, Brazil, or any countries transited during your journey.

Tour Adjustments: In rare instances, due to adverse weather, operational requirements, or safety concerns, Lumle Holidays reserves the right to alter the order or duration of excursions or itinerary elements without prior notice.
