Day 1 : DEPART NEW YORK → BUENOS AIRES (NEXT-DAY ARRIVAL)

Begin your journey to Buenos Aires with a one-stop flight to Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE). From the UK/Europe (e.g., departing NEW YORK), and from most USA/Canada gateways, you’ll typically arrive on Day 2 due to distance and time zones. Check in at NEW YORK, set devices to Argentina Time (ART), hydrate, and settle in—tomorrow it’s café culture, tree-lined avenidas and river-wide horizons.

Connection Tips (1-Stop): Book a through-ticket so bags tag to EZE. Aim for 75–90 min minimum at the hub (longer if terminal change/security re-screen). Follow International Connections signage to stay airside and reconfirm the gate on arrival—reassignments close to boarding are common.

Baggage & Seats: Standard is one small cabin bag + personal item; long-haul hold allowance is often 23 kg—check your fare. If you’re tall or prefer easier sleep, consider extra-legroom/Premium Economy (supplement). Keep meds, valuables, adaptor, chargers, spare top in your carry-on.

Jet Lag & Wellness: Switch devices to ART after take-off, sip water regularly, and keep caffeine/alcohol light. Stretch hourly; an eye mask and neck pillow help on red-eyes. Buenos Aires sits near sea levelno altitude considerations today or tomorrow.

Route Preferences by Region

  • UK/Europe: Connect via European or South American hubs (e.g., Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, São Paulo). Many routings are overnight → next-day arrival.
  • USA: Common hubs include Miami, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, New York—numerous overnight options with next-morning arrivals into EZE.
  • Canada: Route via Toronto/Montreal or connect through US/Panama/Lima/Bogotá hubs; most arrive next day.

Arrival Notes (for tomorrow): International flights use EZE; the domestic city airport is Aeroparque (AEP). If you’ll connect onward within Argentina later in the trip, allow time between EZE↔AEP transfers. Use official taxis/ride-apps from arrivals.

Tomorrow (Day 2): Touch down in Buenos Aires, meet-and-greet in arrivals, and private transfer to your hotel—then an easy first wander among cafés and jacarandas.

Day 2 : ARRIVE BUENOS AIRES: CHECK-IN & EASY FIRST WALK

Touch down in Buenos Aires at Ministro Pistarini (EZE). After immigration and baggage claim, meet your host in arrivals for a seamless private transfer to your hotel in Recoleta or Palermo. Drop bags, freshen up and ease into the city—today’s remaining hours are at leisure.

Arrival Flow (Typical): Passport control → baggage → Customs → meet & greet at the exit → 45–70 min drive to the city (traffic-dependent). Your driver assists with luggage and hotel check-in.

Fly Buenos Aires → Posadas/Corrientes (short hop), then a scenic private road transfer to your eco-lux lodge inside the reserve. Check in, unpack and exhale—tea on the veranda with wide-open marsh views and the call of jacanas.

As heat softens, head out for a late-afternoon boat drift on mirror channels. Scan the banks for capybara families, watch yacaré caiman warming on islets, and trace flocks of herons, ibis and kingfishers in golden light. It’s mostly seated, camera-friendly, and wonderfully unhurried.

Pace & Comfort: Activities are timed for cooler hours; midday reserved for rest and settling in.

Note on Optionals: Any additional activities offered by the lodge today are at extra cost unless listed above as included. Pre-book to secure preferred times.

Day 7 : DAWN BIRDS, SIESTA, GOLDEN HOUR

Rise before first light for a pre-breakfast skiff safari when the marsh wakes. Glide past reedbeds as jabiru storks lift off, herons and snail kites quarter the channels, and marsh deer step through mirror-calm water. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and a long, delicious siesta through the warm hours.

As the air softens, launch for a late-day photography float: honey-gold light, glassy reflections, and silhouettes of capybara on islets. After dinner, step outside—if skies are clear, Iberá’s starfields spill overhead.

Included (Gentle): Dawn skiff safari (mostly seated; shade awning) • Afternoon downtime • Golden-hour boat drift.

What to Bring: Light rain shell or poncho • quick-dry top • comfortable closed-toe shoes with grip • waterproof phone pouch or small dry bag • hat & SPF • reusable bottle. Keep snacks sealed—coatis are crafty.

Photo Tips — Upper Circuit: For rainbows, shoot when the sun is behind you: ISO 100–200, f/5.6–f/8, 1/250–1/500 sec. For silky water, slow to 1/6–1/2 sec and brace on a rail; use a microfiber cloth to clear spray.

Note: Optionals are at extra costs unless specified as included and may require your passport if crossing to Brazil.

Day 10 : DEVIL’S THROAT (GARGANTA DEL DIABLO)

Included (Gentle): Early park train tickets • Guided boardwalk approach to Devil’s Throat (flat, handrails, frequent photo stops).

Typical outing: ~2–2.5 hours door-to-door from the hotel, with built-in breaks.

Your morning features a high-elevation tasting at a showcase bodega—aromas lifted by altitude, Malbec with fine tannins, Cabernet Franc with herbal lift, and elegant blends framed by big mountain vistas.

Midday, follow olive groves to a family olive-oil estate for an EVOO experience: walk the press room, learn cold-extraction basics, then taste Arbequina, Frantoio and Picual with pan de campo—peppery, grassy, almond-sweet profiles side by side.
