Please note:

- Rates do not apply to Peruvians or residents with more than 60 days of stay. If passengers are Peruvians or exceed 60 days of stay, sale taxes (18%) will be collected by our local operator.
- Check-In in most hotels begins at 1:00 p.m. Clients arriving earlier will be subject to room availability and may need to wait in the hotel lobby.
- If visiting high-altitude cities like Cusco and Puno (above 3400 meters / 11,200 feet), take precautions to avoid altitude sickness. Passengers with heart conditions or high blood pressure should consult a doctor before traveling.
- Upon arrival, it is recommended to rest for a few hours, drink coca tea, and eat lightly. Machu Picchu, as a reference, is at 2400 meters (8,000 feet).
- During the rainy season (December to March), the visit will include Chinchero, Maras, and chicherías (local corn beer factory) instead of Las Salineras. You also have the option to replace this tour with a visit to the South Valley.
- We reserve the right to change itineraries and activities due to weather conditions, technical problems, or security reasons.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE NEW ENTRANCE REGULATIONS TO MACHU PICCHU
- The current restrictions allow a maximum stay of 4 hours in Machu Picchu, accompanied by a guide during the first entry. If the visitor tours an alternate route (Mountain Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu), an additional 3 hours are allowed.
- If a passenger wishes to re-enter Machu Picchu in the afternoon or the following day, an additional ticket must be purchased in advance. No ticket sales are available on-site.
- The following items are prohibited: professional cameras with lights and tripods or telephoto lenses over 2kg (special authorization and an additional fee required), drones, selfie sticks, sprays, high heels, walking sticks without rubber tips, banners, posters, sharp objects, and oversized backpacks (maximum size: 40cm x 35cm x 20cm).
NEW PLASTIC REGULATION:
- Following the prohibition of single-use plastic items in Peru’s 76 natural parks and reserves, including Machu Picchu, please carry reusable bottles.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Domestic flights from Lima to Cusco must arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. Arrivals after noon are too late.
- Carry the same document presented to the agency, as train tickets and Machu Picchu entry will match this information.
- For train services to Machu Picchu, passengers may bring only hand luggage (backpack, bag, or briefcase) weighing no more than 5kg / 11lb. Maximum dimensions allowed: 62 linear inches / 157cm (height + length + width).
What do I need to bring?
- Comfortable and light clothing is recommended for coastal areas, while warm clothing is suggested for the high Andean region.
- Avoid wearing sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts, or revealing clothing when visiting religious temples or official buildings.
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent are highly recommended.
