Your journey to Tashkent begins at NEW YORK. Arrive about 3 hours before departure to complete check-in and security with ease. Once airside, enjoy a light pre-flight meal, stretch your legs and settle in—tonight you cross continents to the heart of the Silk Road.

Flight notes: Itineraries are typically one-stop and may arrive the next day; on select dates a same-day arrival may be scheduled. Total travel time varies by routing and season. Always verify final times in your e-ticket and airline app.

Keep power banks, medication, valuables and a warm layer in your cabin bag. Liquids over 100 ml must be packed in checked luggage under UK security rules.

Travel documents & baggage: Ensure your passport meets validity requirements for Uzbekistan and check the latest visa/e-Visa rules for your nationality. Review your airline’s baggage allowance (checked & cabin) and any fees for seat selection or sports equipment.

Time zone: Tashkent operates on UZT (UTC+5). Set your watch on descent and keep an eye on the gate for any last-minute changes.

Health & comfort: Hydrate regularly, choose a light meal before boarding and walk the aisle periodically on long sectors. A neck pillow, eye mask and earplugs can improve in-flight rest.

Power & plugs: Uzbekistan uses Type C/F sockets; voltage is 220V, 50Hz. Pack a universal adaptor.

Flight summary: NEW YORK → Tashkent (as ticketed); airline, flight number(s) and timings per your e-ticket.

Day 2 : ARRIVE TASHKENT — PRIVATE TRANSFER & LEISURE

Upon arrival in Tashkent, you will be met by a Lumle airport representative and escorted to your hotel. Check in, relax and recover from your flight; the remaining time is at leisure to rest or take a gentle stroll nearby.

Transfer notes: Private meet-and-greet in the arrivals hall; door-to-door transfer to your hotel. Have your passport and arrival documents handy for a smooth exit.

Practical notes: Hydrate after the flight and adjust your watch to UZT (UTC+5). Ask reception for nearby cafés or ATMs if needed.

Day 3 : TASHKENT CITY TOUR — KHASTI IMOM (HAST-IMAM) SQUARE, INDEPENDENCE SQUARE, NAVOI THEATRE & THE OLD CITY

Today you explore Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, with your local guide. Begin at Khasti Imom (Hast-Imam) Square, home to magnificent madrasas and libraries, including the one renowned for housing the oldest Qur’an. Stroll the complex to admire elegant courtyards, carved portals and tranquil squares that echo the city’s Silk Road heritage.

Continue to nearby highlights such as Independence Square, the grand Navoi Theatre and the atmospheric Old City, where traditional lanes, bakeries and workshops reveal everyday Uzbek life.

Travel notes: Comfortable walking shoes are recommended; modest dress is appreciated at religious sites. Ask your guide for a brief tea stop or a local non (bread) bakery in the Old City.

Later, explore The Ark, the unmissable citadel used as a fortress since around the 5th century, and continue to the famed Chor Minor, the evocative gateway to a once-grand madrasa now lost to time.

Travel notes: Wear comfortable walking shoes and modest attire for religious sites. Cobblestones and uneven surfaces are common; carry water and a sun hat in warmer months.

Travel notes: Expect some steps and uneven surfaces around historic complexes; comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Modest attire is appreciated at religious/heritage sites.

Practical notes: Carry small cash for minor entry/camera fees and a refillable water bottle. Ask your guide for a local bakery stop to try fresh non (Uzbek bread).
