Today you will board on an overnight plane to New Delhi.

Day 2 : ARRIVE BANGALORE

Our representative will meet you in the arrival area of the airport after you clear all immigration and customs formalities. Depart for your hotel where you will check in for your stay.

Day 3 : BANGALORE – MYSORE BY SURFACE: APPROX. 180 KM / 4 HRS

Morning, visit the landmark of Bangalore, Vidhana Soudha which serves as a seat of the legislature assembly. Next, visit Cubbon Park (Closed on Monday) which houses the State Archaeological Museum.

Afternoon, drive to Mysore En-route, stop at Srirangapatnam where the legendary warrior Tipu Sultan built his island fortress and Summer Palace.

Arrive in Mysore & check-in for your stay.

Day 4 : MYSORE

Morning, visit the Mysore Palace. The majestic palace is a unique assortment of Dravidian, Indo-Saracenic & Oriental Roman styles. Inside the complex, there are temples, handicraft showrooms, a garden & a residential palace too.

Next, visit Jaganmohan Palace which is built in the traditional Hindu style. The top of the façade of the palace is designed to give it a temple look. Mysore’s world-famous gold-leaf paintings are housed in Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, located inside the palace.

Afternoon, visit the Lalitha Mahal Palace which was built for the exclusive stay of the viceroy of India. Now, it serves as a heritage hotel which is run by the Ashoka Group. The architecture of the palace is inspired by St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

Located very near to the Lalitha Mahal Palace is Chamundi Devi Temple. The Chamundeeswari temple is located on a hill in the vicinity of Mysore and is accessed through a motorable road.

Day 5 : MYSORE – CHIKMANGALUR BY SURFACE: APPROX. 180 KM / 4 HRS

After breakfast, drive to Chikmangalur. En-route visit Shravanbelagola, an important Jain pilgrim centre. It is home to Asia's largest monolithic statue of Lord Gomateswara which towers 58 ft., looming atop the picturesque Vindhyagiri Hill. [Please note: To reach the main temple, we need to climb approx. 200-225 stairs.]

Resuming drive, reach Chikmangalur. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Evening is at leisure.

Day 6 : CHIKMANGALUR

After breakfast, you will be taken for an excursion of Belur famous for its magnificent Hoysala Temple Complex, and Halebid, the capital of the Hoysalas has one of the finest Hoysala temples.

Return to Chikmagalur for a night stay.

Day 7 : CHIKMAGALUR – HOSPET BY SURFACE: APPROX. 277 KM / 7 HRS

After breakfast, you will drive to Hospet, a gateway to Hampi’s UNESCO World Heritage site.

Arrive Hospet and check in for your stay.

Day 8 : HOSPET - HAMPI EXCURSION BY SURFACE: APPROX. 15 KM / 0.5 HRS

The entire day is reserved to explore some of the exquisite monuments of Hampi. Even in its ruined state, Hampi attracts a large number of tourists from all over the globe.

Mesmerized by the unrivalled beauty of Hampi; return to the hotel in Hospet.

Day 9 : HOSPET – BADAMI BY SURFACE: APPROX. 130 KM / 3.5 HRS

After breakfast, drive to Badami. En-route, visit Aihole, the first Chalukyan capital which is regarded as the birthplace of Indian temple architecture. And Pattadakal on the banks of the Malaprabha River, is noted for its cluster of sandstone temples.

Upon arrival in Badami, check in at the hotel.

Day 10 : BADAMI

After a leisurely breakfast, proceed to visit the cave temples of Badami. Badami, the one-time capital of the Chalukyas, is noted for several temples, some structural & other rock-cut, of the 6th & 7th Centuries.

This group of 4 cave temples has been carved out of the hill opposite Badami Fort. Of the four, three are Brahmanical, while the fourth is Jain. Nearly 2000 steps have to be climbed to reach the cave.

You will also visit Badami Fort, strategically situated on top of the hill. The fort encloses large granaries, a treasury, and impressive temples on top of the northern end of the hill.

Day 11 : BADAMI – GOA BY SURFACE: APPROX. 236 KM / 5 HRS

After breakfast, drive to Goa. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Sun, sea, and sand combine to make Goa an ideal place to relax. With its 100km of coastline, it is a land of golden beaches set against a backdrop of coconut palms and green rice fields.

The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 12 : GOA

After breakfast, proceed for a half-day tour of Old Goa & Panjim city.

Old Goa is considered the spiritual heart of the State. Visit the largest church in Asia – Se Cathedral which is dedicated to St. Catherine. Opposite the Se Cathedral stands the Basilica of Bom Jesus built by the Jesuits in 1605. The church houses the sacred relics of St. Francis Xavier, patron saint of Goa. Take a brief stop at St. Cajetan. The church’s façade is based on the original design of St. Peter’s in Rome. Drive past St. Augustine Tower and the nunnery of St. Monica. Visit the Christian Arts Museum, which houses some of the best specimens of Goa’s distinctive and executively crafted church art.

After sightseeing, return to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 15 : GOA – MUMBAI BY FLIGHT

After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to Goa airport to board your flight to Mumbai.

Bombay, the commercial capital of India, is the center of industry, commerce, and foreign trade. Besides being the major port of India, this cosmopolitan city is the fastest-moving, most affluent, and industrialized city in India.

Upon arrival in Mumbai, be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 16 : MUMBAI

After breakfast, take a tour of the Elephanta Caves (Closed on Monday).

An hour away from Mumbai by ferry, the Elephanta Caves are a network of sculpted caves located on Elephanta Island or Gharapuri (meaning the city of caves) in Mumbai Harbor. The island, located on an arm of the Arabian Sea, consists of two groups of caves - the first is a large group of 5 Hindu caves, and the second, and a smaller group of 2 Buddhist caves. The rock-cut architecture of the caves has been dated to between the 5th and 8th centuries.

Later, proceed for a city tour of Mumbai includes a visit to Mani Bhavan, the Prince of Wales Museum (Closed on Monday), the Gateway of India, and Dhobi Ghat. Drive along the Marine Drive, famous as the Queen’s Necklace, Crawford Market, and pass by the ’Towers of Silence’ of the Parsis, who settled in Bombay in 1670.

In time assisted transfer to Mumbai airport to board your flight for home.
