Day 7 : GALAPAGUERA – PUERTO CHINO – LA LOBERIA WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS

After breakfast, prepare for a spectacular day of discovery as we delve deeper into the unique ecosystems of San Cristóbal Island. Our first stop is the renowned Galapaguera, a protected giant tortoise sanctuary where you’ll have the incredible opportunity to observe these majestic creatures — also known as Galápagos tortoises — roaming in their natural habitat. Optional Experience 1 – El Junco Lagoon: Begin the day with a visit to El Junco Lagoon, the largest natural freshwater reservoir in the Galápagos Archipelago. Nestled in the highlands, this scenic crater lake is surrounded by lush vegetation and is a haven for birdlife. Short hiking trails lead through the island’s interior, where you can quietly observe the wildlife and soak in the unspoiled atmosphere. Back on the beach, enjoy superb opportunities for snorkelling and swimming in the calm, turquoise waters of the sheltered channel separating Lobos from San Cristóbal.
