Day 3 : DISCOVER THE SOUL OF SEOUL – PALACES, HERITAGE & STREET FOOD

Today, embark on a captivating full-day guided tour of Seoul, where the rich tapestry of Korean history and contemporary culture comes to life. Begin your journey at the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest and most iconic of the Five Grand Palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty. Marvel at its grand architecture and, if timing allows, witness the colourful and highly choreographed Royal Guard Changing Ceremony — a spectacle steeped in tradition.

Within the palace grounds, step into the National Folk Museum of Korea, where exhibits showcase the customs, attire, and daily life of Korea’s past generations. It's an intimate look into the heart of Korean heritage.

Next, explore Bukchon Hanok Village, a picturesque neighbourhood home to over 900 preserved hanok (traditional Korean houses). Nestled between modern cityscapes, this living museum offers a timeless glimpse into Seoul's architectural soul, with winding alleyways and tiled rooftops perfect for photos.

Continue to Insadong Street, a charming and eclectic hub for art lovers and collectors. Browse quaint galleries, antique shops, calligraphy stalls, and sip traditional teas as you explore this cultural corridor known for its authentic Korean souvenirs.

Your final stop is Gwangjang Market, one of Korea’s oldest and liveliest traditional markets. Dive into the bustling alleys filled with sizzling pans and mouth-watering aromas. Sample Korea’s beloved street food — from crispy mung bean pancakes to spicy tteokbokki and comforting bowls of handmade noodles.

After an immersive day, return to your hotel with memories of royal splendour, timeworn villages, and culinary delights — a perfect portrait of Seoul’s enduring charm.

Overnight in Seoul, with the spirit of palaces, hanoks, and sizzling street food still fresh in your memory.

Day 4 : SEOUL TO GYEONGJU – JOURNEY TO KOREA’S OPEN-AIR MUSEUM

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and board Korea’s high-speed KTX express train, heading southeast to the historic city of Gyeongju. As the train glides through scenic landscapes, look forward to stepping back in time — Gyeongju is often called the “Museum Without Walls” for its unparalleled collection of ancient relics and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Upon arrival, begin your exploration with a visit to the magnificent Bulguksa Temple, a masterpiece of Buddhist art and one of Korea’s very first UNESCO-listed landmarks. Surrounded by tranquil forests and stone terraces, the temple offers an atmosphere of serene spirituality and architectural grandeur that dates back to the 8th century.

Next, delve deeper into the region’s cultural treasures at the Gyeongju National Museum, where exquisite artefacts from the Silla Kingdom — including royal crowns, pottery, and ancient weaponry — tell the story of a golden age in Korean civilisation.

As the sun begins to set over Gyeongju’s ancient landscapes, enjoy the peaceful charm of this heritage-rich city, where every corner whispers tales of dynasties past.

Overnight in Gyeongju, where echoes of Korea’s ancient kingdom linger beneath every tiled roof and temple bell.

Day 5 : GYEONGJU TO BUSAN – FROM ROYAL TOMBS TO COASTAL SKYLINES

This morning, check out from your hotel and continue your journey through Korea’s storied past with a visit to Cheonmachong Tomb and the surrounding Royal Tumuli Park. Walk among the towering, grass-covered burial mounds that house the remains of ancient Silla kings and nobles — a solemn yet fascinating glimpse into Korea’s regal heritage. Enter one of the tombs to see beautifully preserved relics and the iconic painting of the “Heavenly Horse.”

Next, stop at Gyochon Village, a traditional hanok village nestled near the Gyeongju Hyanggyo Confucian school. Stroll through narrow lanes lined with wooden homes, try your hand at traditional crafts, and savour a moment of tranquillity in this living heritage site.

In the afternoon, travel by private vehicle to Busan, South Korea’s dynamic second-largest city and home to one of the world’s busiest ports. A striking contrast to Gyeongju’s ancient calm, Busan buzzes with modern energy, sparkling beaches, and urban vibrancy.

Before checking into your hotel, make a stop at Dongbaek Island, a scenic coastal park famous for pine trees, coastal trails, and panoramic views of the Busan skyline. Here, visit the elegant Nurimaru APEC House, a sleek glass-and-steel pavilion built for the 2005 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit, offering breathtaking vistas of Haeundae Beach and the ocean beyond.

As evening falls, check in and relax at your hotel in Busan — a city where coastal beauty and cosmopolitan charm meet effortlessly.

Overnight in Busan, where ancient tombs give way to ocean views and the rhythm of city life by the sea.

Day 6 : FULL-DAY EXPLORATION OF BUSAN – COASTAL VIEWS, COLOURFUL VILLAGES & VIBRANT MARKETS

Set out today on a captivating full-day tour of Busan, South Korea’s bustling coastal city where history, culture, and seascapes collide. Begin your journey at the solemn and beautifully landscaped UN Memorial Cemetery Park — the only one of its kind in the world. This moving site honours the sacrifices of UN soldiers who served during the Korean War, set against manicured lawns and reflective memorials.

Next, make your way to the dramatic Oryukdo Skywalk, perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. Walk across the transparent glass floor if you dare, and gaze down at the crashing waves below — a thrilling encounter with the wild beauty of Korea’s southern coastline.

Continue to the enchanting Gamcheon Culture Village, often dubbed the “Santorini of the East.” This once-forgotten hillside neighbourhood has been transformed into a vibrant artistic haven, with narrow alleys, quirky street art, and a kaleidoscope of colourfully painted houses cascading down the slope. Explore its artisan shops, tiny galleries, and scenic viewpoints for a truly local experience.

Later, ascend to Yongdusan Park, home to the iconic Busan Tower. Stroll through leafy walkways and enjoy panoramic city views, perhaps even spotting ships docking in the harbour below.

Round off your day at two of Busan’s most iconic markets. Dive into the lively energy of Jagalchi Fish Market, Korea’s largest seafood market, where stalls brim with everything from live octopus to glistening clams. Then wander through Gukje Market, a sprawling traditional market where locals shop for everything from textiles to street snacks — a true taste of Busan’s everyday soul.

Return to your hotel filled with memories of this city’s contrasts — from peaceful memorials and sea views to artistic enclaves and lively market buzz.

Overnight in Busan, where vibrant street art, coastal cliffs, and bustling markets leave an unforgettable impression of Korea’s southern gem.

Day 7 : FROM BUSAN TO BANGKOK – A TROPICAL WELCOME TO THAILAND

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Busan and transfer to the airport for your international flight to Bangkok, the lively and exotic capital of Thailand. Leaving behind the coastal charm of South Korea, you now journey south into the heart of Southeast Asia — where golden temples, tantalising street food, and tropical energy await.

Upon landing at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, a local tour representative will warmly welcome you and assist with an unescorted transfer to your hotel (approximately 30km, 30 minutes). Settle into your accommodation and take in your first impressions of this exhilarating metropolis.

The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Perhaps begin your Bangkok adventure by indulging in a soothing traditional Thai massage, or dive into the vibrant local food scene with a visit to a nearby market or noodle stall. Day 8 : BANGKOK – ROYAL GRANDEUR & SACRED TEMPLES OF THE CITY OF ANGELS

After breakfast, embark on an unforgettable cultural journey through Bangkok, visiting some of the city’s most revered landmarks and sacred temples. Begin at the awe-inspiring Wat Traimit, also known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha. This remarkable sanctuary houses a solid gold Buddha statue standing 3 metres tall and weighing over 5.5 tonnes — a gleaming symbol of spiritual devotion and Thai craftsmanship.

Continue your drive through the bustling streets of Chinatown, a maze of gold shops, herbal stores, and market stalls, en route to the serene Wat Pho — the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Here lies Bangkok’s largest Buddha image, stretching an impressive 46 metres in length, its peaceful expression representing the Buddha’s passage into Nirvana. This temple complex is also home to exquisite Chedis of the Kings and a famed traditional Thai massage school.

The highlight of the day is your visit to the legendary Grand Palace* — a dazzling example of traditional Siamese architecture and once the royal residence of Thai kings. Explore its series of majestic buildings including the Funeral Palace, Reception Palace, Throne Hall, and Coronation Hall. Within the complex lies the revered Wat Phra Kaew, home to the sacred Emerald Buddha, carved from a single block of jade and considered Thailand’s most important religious icon.

Before returning to your hotel, visit a local lapidary factory and showroom, where you’ll have the opportunity to browse a selection of handcrafted jewellery, Thai silk, and traditional handicrafts — ideal for finding a unique souvenir or gift.

*Please note: The Grand Palace may be closed to the public during official state ceremonies or royal events.

Overnight in Bangkok, with your heart full of wonder after exploring the royal and spiritual treasures of the Thai capital.

Day 9 : BANGKOK – MAEKLONG RAILWAY MARKET & DAMNOEN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET ADVENTURE

After breakfast, set out on an eye-opening full-day excursion beyond the city to explore two of Thailand’s most iconic markets. First, drive southwest of Bangkok to the extraordinary Maeklong Railway Market – locally known as Talad Rom Hoop. On arrival, your guide will share the fascinating history of this unique trading hub, famous for its stalls set up directly on the railway tracks. Watch in amazement as, just moments before a train passes through, vendors swiftly fold away their awnings and baskets — only to resume business within seconds of the train disappearing. It’s a rare and thrilling spectacle you won’t forget.

Next, continue your journey through Thailand’s countryside to the legendary Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, the most famous of its kind in the country. Board a paddleboat or observe from the banks as colourfully dressed merchants glide along narrow canals in wooden canoes brimming with vibrant fruits, vegetables, and local delicacies. The air is filled with the sounds of bargaining and the scent of tropical produce, offering a lively window into Thailand’s traditional river-based commerce.

Take time to explore, sample local snacks, and perhaps even test your bartering skills. This immersive experience provides a charming look at everyday life far from the skyscrapers of the capital.

In the afternoon, return to Bangkok by road, with your camera full and your senses awakened by a day of authentic Thai culture and vibrant local traditions.

Overnight in Bangkok, reflecting on the captivating contrast between rural charm and urban energy.

Day 10 : BANGKOK TO CHIANG MAI – TEMPLES OF THE OLD LANNA KINGDOM

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your included domestic flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, the cultural heart of Northern Thailand. Upon arrival, you’ll be met for an unescorted transfer to your hotel in this charming former capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom. With its misty mountains, historic temples, and laid-back atmosphere, Chiang Mai offers a captivating contrast to the buzz of Bangkok.

At 1:30pm, meet your local guide in central Chiang Mai and begin your fascinating guided tour of the old city and its iconic temples. Your first stop is the peaceful Wat Suan Dok, home to a brilliant white Royal Cemetery and a towering 48-metre-high Sri Lankan-style chedi that glows in the afternoon sun.

Next, explore the graceful Wat Phra Singh, a vast temple complex made up of more than 60 intricately designed structures that showcase the architectural grandeur of Lanna craftsmanship. Then journey to the spiritual core of the city with a visit to Wat Chedi Luang. This majestic 14th-century temple, though partially ruined by time and earthquakes, exudes quiet power and timeless beauty.

Continue to the lesser-visited but equally captivating Wat Chet Yot, easily recognisable by its seven spires and Indian-influenced design. End your afternoon at Wat Chiang Man, the city’s oldest temple and famed for its stone elephant sculptures and crystal Buddha icons — some believed to be nearly two thousand years old.

Overnight in Chiang Mai, immersed in the spiritual soul of Northern Thailand.

Day 11 : CHIANG MAI – SACRED PEAKS, BUSTLING MARKETS & NORTHERN THAI CULTURE

After breakfast, set out to explore one of Chiang Mai’s most revered landmarks — the majestic Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Perched on a mountaintop 1,073 metres above sea level, this sacred site offers breathtaking panoramic views over Chiang Mai and the surrounding valleys. Reach the summit by climbing the iconic 309-step naga staircase, flanked by serpent statues, or take the included cable car ride for a more leisurely ascent. Once at the top, marvel at the golden chedi, gleaming in the sunlight and surrounded by exquisite shrines and colourful murals.

Descend back to the city and immerse yourself in the local buzz at Wararot Market, one of Chiang Mai’s oldest and most famous shopping venues. This vibrant market is a sensory delight, offering everything from hand-woven fabrics and herbal remedies to spices, souvenirs, and street snacks. A short stroll away, the flower market bursts with colour and fragrance, with vendors arranging fresh blooms into beautiful garlands and temple offerings.

As night falls, experience the heart of Lanna hospitality with an included Khantoke dinner — a traditional northern Thai feast served on low trays while you sit on floor cushions. Savour a variety of local dishes as graceful performers present classical dances, sword displays, and hill tribe rituals, bringing the ancient traditions of the Lanna Kingdom to life in an unforgettable setting.

Overnight in Chiang Mai, filled with the sights, flavours, and rhythms of northern Thailand’s cultural soul.

Day 12 : CHIANG MAI TO CHIANG RAI – FROM ECO-INNOVATION TO THE DAZZLING WHITE TEMPLE

After breakfast, depart Chiang Mai for a scenic road journey to Chiang Rai, with fascinating cultural and eco-friendly stops along the way. Your first destination is the quirky and inspirational Elephant Poopoopaper Park — a unique open-air eco-museum that showcases sustainable papermaking using recycled elephant dung fibres!

Walk through the lush gardens on an engaging guided tour that leads you through eight interactive pavilions. Each stage of the process — from poop collection to pulping, pressing, and product finishing — is not only explained but demonstrated in a fun and memorable way. Visitors are encouraged to get hands-on: roll up your sleeves, pull up a stool, and try your hand at crafting a piece of paper like no other. Along the way, learn about Chiang Mai’s long heritage of traditional papermaking and handicrafts, brought to life with colourful displays and artisan guides.

After enjoying a delicious included lunch, continue your journey north through the peaceful countryside of Doi Saket, arriving at one of Thailand’s most astonishing modern landmarks — Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. Built in the 1990s by visionary artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, this shimmering masterpiece features intricate all-white carvings and mirrored glass mosaics that reflect the sunlight in spectacular fashion. Both surreal and spiritual, it’s one of the most photographed temples in Thailand — and for good reason.

From here, continue on to Chiang Rai, arriving in the afternoon. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure in this tranquil northern city known for its laid-back charm and cultural richness.

Overnight in Chiang Rai, where the journey into Thailand’s artistic and eco-conscious soul continues.

Day 13 : CHIANG RAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE WONDERS & FLIGHT TO PHUKET PARADISE

After breakfast and check-out from your hotel in Chiang Rai, embark on a final cultural journey through Thailand’s mysterious northern frontier. Travel to the historic town of Chiang Saen, perched on the banks of the Mekong River. From a scenic viewpoint, take in a breathtaking panorama of the legendary Golden Triangle — where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge in a swirl of misty hills and river currents.

Board a traditional boat for a 30-minute cruise on the Mekong River, gliding past riverside villages and border landmarks. As you float between nations, your guide will share fascinating stories about this once-infamous region known for its opium trade, now transformed into a symbol of cultural intersection and peace.

After your river adventure, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Chiang Rai Airport for your afternoon departure. Board your included domestic flight to Bangkok, followed by a connecting flight to Thailand’s tropical south — the famous island of Phuket.

Upon arrival in Phuket, a local representative will greet you at the airport and assist with your unescorted transfer to your hotel (approx. 30km, 1 hour).
