Begin in the upscale districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, where manicured parks, contemporary architecture, and bustling boulevards showcase the city’s cosmopolitan side.

At the end of the tour, you will continue to your hotel in Cusco.

Surrounded by arcaded walkways, ornate colonial buildings, and lively cafés, this vibrant square has been the centre of Cusco’s social and cultural life for centuries.

Visit the magnificent Cusco Cathedral, a colonial masterpiece filled with sacred art, baroque altars, and traces of Incan stonework. From there, walk to the remarkable Koricancha Temple, once the most sacred temple in the Inca Empire, dedicated to Inti, the Sun God. The temple's original Inca stone foundations still support the 16th-century Dominican church built atop them — a powerful symbol of Peru’s layered history.

Continue your exploration with a visit to the bohemian San Blas neighbourhood, known for its cobbled streets, whitewashed buildings, and artisan charm. Browse quaint boutiques, watch local craftsmen at work, and take in panoramic views over Cusco from this artistic enclave perched above the city centre.

Optional evening experience: As night falls, join an unforgettable 3-hour guided evening tour of Cusco After Dark with Pisco Sour Class. Begin at the illuminated Koricancha Temple to appreciate its golden glow by night, then head up to the San Cristobal viewpoint for a panoramic look at the city lights twinkling below. Finally, visit the iconic República del Pisco, where you’ll learn to make Peru’s beloved cocktail during a fun and interactive Pisco Sour-making class, followed by a tasting session.

After a local lunch, reach the dramatic high point of the route: La Raya Pass, situated at 4,335 metres above sea level. Here, enjoy panoramic views of the snow-dusted Andes and remote rural communities. Enjoy a delicious traditional Andean lunch prepared with locally sourced ingredients, offering a taste of the rich culinary heritage of the region.

In the afternoon, travel by boat to the fascinating floating islands of the Uros people, constructed entirely from totora reeds. Located in the heart of the Lake Titicaca National Reserve, these man-made islands are home to families who continue to live in harmony with the lake, sustaining ancient traditions and ecological practices.
