Continue to Cusco, the historic heart of the former Inca Empire, before travelling by train through the Andes towards Machu Picchu. During your guided visit, explore the areas of this remarkable archaeological site accessible under the entry arrangements applicable to your visit, while learning about its history and cultural significance. Access, walking routes and the areas visited are subject to the regulations, availability and operational arrangements in place at the time.
Continue to Lake Titicaca, where your journey introduces you to communities and traditions associated with this remarkable high-altitude lake. Visit the distinctive floating islands of the Uros and experience the cultural heritage of Taquile Island, renowned for its traditional textile craftsmanship. Visits and experiences are subject to local access and operational arrangements.
Extend your journey with a selection of optional experiences that may be available during the online booking process under the Add Ons section. After breakfast, travel towards Ollantaytambo to board the train for a scenic journey through the Andean landscapes towards Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Village. Enjoy a guided visit to Machu Picchu, learning about the history, architecture and cultural significance of this extraordinary Inca site from your local guide. Your visit will follow the entry and access arrangements applicable at the time. The walking route, entry time, duration and areas of the archaeological site visited are subject to ticket availability, local regulations and operational arrangements.
Following your visit, return to Aguas Calientes and, depending on the confirmed train schedule and local arrangements, continue by train towards Ollantaytambo. On arrival, transfer back to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
