Optional Mount Everest Flight (Subject to Weather Conditions)

Climbing Mount Everest, the world’s tallest peak, is a grueling challenge that takes months of preparation, but this scenic flight offers a breathtaking alternative. This 50-minute flight is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, offering a chance to glimpse the roof of the world from a perspective few ever see. Exploring Kathmandu & the Kathmandu Valley

Today, immerse yourself in the cultural and spiritual heart of Nepal, as you explore the Kathmandu Valley, home to some of the world's most revered UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Accompanied by an experienced English-speaking guide, your journey will take you to the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Kathmandu Durbar Square – The Royal Legacy

Kathmandu Durbar Square, the city's most famous attraction, is a bustling hub of history, culture, and sacred traditions. Though some monuments date back to the 12th century, most were built during the reign of the Malla Kings. Among its most iconic structures is the Kumari Bahal, an intricately carved residence housing the Royal Kumari, Nepal’s Living Goddess—a manifestation of Durga. Nearby, the former Royal Palace, once an expansive Malla Dynasty residence, still stands as a testament to Nepal’s regal history. Inside, the Nassal Chowk courtyard, once used for royal dance performances, now serves as the coronation site of the Shah Kings, showcasing some of the finest wood carvings in the kingdom. Other notable sites include the 14th-century Jagannath Mandir, the oldest temple in the square, and the Taleju Mandir, one of the largest and most magnificent temples in the Valley, dedicated to Taleju Bhawani, a wrathful form of Durga.

Swayambhunath Stupa – The Monkey Temple

Perched atop a forested hill, the Swayambhunath Stupa is Kathmandu’s most ancient and enigmatic shrine. With records dating back to the 5th century, this golden-spired stupa has stood as a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site for over a thousand years. Its devotees include Newari Buddhists, as well as Tibetan and Vajrayana Buddhists, who regard it as the most sacred Buddhist shrine in the Kathmandu Valley. The site offers panoramic views of the city and is home to a lively troupe of mischievous monkeys, earning it the nickname Monkey Temple.

Boudhanath Stupa – The Spiritual Heart of Tibetan Buddhism

The journey continues to Boudhanath, home to one of the largest stupas in Nepal and a spiritual centre for Tibetan Buddhism. This monumental stupa, with its all-seeing eyes of Buddha, stands as an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists from across the world. Over time, a small Tibetan settlement has flourished around this sacred site, offering visitors a glimpse into Tibetan culture and traditions. Throughout the year, numerous Tibetan Buddhist festivals are held here, providing a vibrant and immersive experience. While here, you may also visit a Tibetan monastery to witness monks engaged in ritual prayers and meditation.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : KATHMANDU TO CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

Journey to Chitwan National Park – Nepal’s Wildlife Haven

Today, head south to the grassy lowlands of Chitwan National Park, a spectacular destination renowned for its rich biodiversity and incredible wildlife encounters. Along the way, marvel at the stunning landscapes—verdant valleys framed by majestic Himalayan foothills, charming traditional villages, and the wild white waters of the Trishuli River.

A UNESCO-designated heritage site, Chitwan National Park is famed for its diverse wildlife, including the rare and endangered one-horned rhinoceros and the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. Herds of Asiatic elephants roam the open plains, while gharial and marsh mugger crocodiles bask along the riverbanks. Upon arrival, check into a wilderness lodge, where you’ll have time to relax and unwind amidst the serene surroundings.

Introduction to Chitwan & Tharu Cultural Experience

After a period of rest, you will receive a briefing about the activities in Chitwan, giving you insight into the adventurous and cultural experiences awaiting you. Following this, enjoy a hearty lunch before embarking on a cultural tour of a Tharu Village.

The Tharu people are the indigenous inhabitants of the Terai region, having lived here for over 500 years while preserving their age-old traditions and fascinating culture. This visit offers a glimpse into their way of life, from their unique stilt houses to their intricately woven crafts and traditional attire.

Later in the evening, unwind with a refreshing drink at the lodge’s bar or take a leisurely stroll through the picturesque surroundings. As night falls, witness the famous Tharu Stick Dance, an energetic cultural performance that reflects the spirit and resilience of the Tharu people. This mesmerising experience is followed by a delightful dinner, marking the perfect end to your first day in Chitwan.

After a hearty breakfast, set out on a serene canoe ride along the Rapti River with your resort’s expert naturalist. As you glide through the tranquil waters, observe fascinating creatures in their natural habitat—crocodiles basking along the riverbanks and vibrant kingfishers darting above. This peaceful yet thrilling experience brings you face-to-face with some of Chitwan’s most captivating residents.

A Birdwatcher’s Paradise & Nature Walk

Chitwan is celebrated as one of the premier destinations for birdwatching, making this experience a true highlight of your visit. Accompanied by an expert naturalist, embark on a nature walk along the riverbanks, where you’ll spot an array of exotic bird species and take in the unspoiled beauty of the lush forest. Your guide will introduce you to the unique grassland ecosystem and the many smaller creatures that often go unnoticed, deepening your understanding of this biodiverse haven.

Following your morning explorations, return to the lodge to enjoy a well-earned lunch before heading out on the next exciting adventure.

Thrilling Jeep Safari Through the Jungle

In the afternoon, set off on a wildlife safari in an open jeep, venturing deep into the dense jungles of Chitwan. As you navigate through the rugged terrain, keep a lookout for a variety of majestic creatures, including Bengal tigers, wild elephants, sloth bears, and spotted deer. Your naturalist guide will provide insights into the diverse flora and fauna, making this safari an unforgettable encounter with the wild.

For an unforgettable Himalayan experience, consider an optional sunrise excursion to Sarangkot. Climbing the Himalayas requires months of preparation, but this incredible vantage point offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the snow-capped peaks without the arduous trek. At 1,592m above sea level, Sarangkot is the highest viewpoint in Pokhara and only 5 km from Lakeside. Here, witness the sunrise casting a golden glow over the mighty Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, with the serene Pokhara Valley stretching below. The contrast of the rugged peaks on one side and the tranquil lakeside city on the other makes this experience truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Sarangkot is also 5 degrees cooler than Pokhara, offering crisp, refreshing air as you take in the majestic sights.

After breakfast, set off on a full day of exploration, uncovering the cultural and historic gems of Pokhara. The day’s sightseeing includes:
