This option is designed for customers travelling individually, but the tour itself is not exclusively for solo travellers. You will travel as part of a regular Lumle small group of 1–20 passengers, which may include couples, friends, family members and other individual travellers.
Your own private room is included at the hotel accommodation provided as part of the main tour. Please note that the overnight stay on Amantani Island is a local homestay experience and differs from conventional hotel accommodation; the accommodation arrangements, facilities and room configuration applicable to the homestay are as described in the itinerary.

Stroll to the magnificent Cathedral of Lima, an architectural masterpiece that began construction in the 16th century and took 80 years to complete. Next, visit the enchanting Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion granted in 1535 by Francisco Pizarro to Jerónimo de Aliaga, one of his loyal captains. A day filled with stunning landscapes and unforgettable sights awaits. Departing the city via Yura, you’ll traverse a district known for its rugged scenery, including dramatic hills and ravines. The journey continues into the expansive Pampa Cañahuas Reserve, a vast plain where you can observe vicuñas, the indigenous Andean camelid and a cherished national symbol of Peru.
The route takes you through Vizcachani, the Pampas de Toccra, and up to the crater of the Chucura Volcano. You’ll ascend further to the Mirador de los Andes at Patapampa, standing at an altitude of 4,800 meters above sea level, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the volcanoes surrounding Arequipa.

From Chivay, you will depart for Puno, taking the scenic route through Patahuasi. After approximately six hours of travel, you will arrive in Puno, the gateway to Lake Titicaca.
Your day begins early as our guide picks you up from your hotel in Puno for an unforgettable excursion on the tranquil waters of Lake Titicaca. Embark on a two-hour motorboat journey to visit the unique Floating Islands of the Uros, an extraordinary cultural treasure. To reach the island’s main town, ascend a stairway of more than 567 steps—stone paths that weave through lush greenery and terraced platforms. Upon arrival, take a well-deserved break to enjoy a traditional lunch while soaking in the island’s stunning views and vibrant culture.
By the afternoon, you’ll return to Puno by motorboat, arriving at your hotel in the evening to rest and reflect on the day’s enriching experiences.

In the morning, embark on a scenic journey from Puno to Cusco by bus, passing through some of the most spectacular locations along the way. Highlights include the charming town of Andahuaylillas, home to its renowned church, the impressive Temple of Wiracocha, and La Raya, the highest point of the route at an elevation of 4,313 meters above sea level, marking the boundary between Cusco and Puno.

From Aguas Calientes, continue towards Machu Picchu for a guided visit to one of Peru's most celebrated archaeological treasures. During your guided visit, explore the areas of Machu Picchu accessible under the entry arrangements applicable to your visit, while learning about the site's history and significance from your local guide. Following your visit, return to Aguas Calientes and travel by train towards Ollantaytambo, followed by an onward transfer back to your hotel in Cusco.
